As our second name is Robbins I thought if we had a boy perhaps we could call it Christopher

Funny story...in 85 when the Kenny Loggins "Christopher Robin" song came out, my little brother was born. They wrote "Christopher Robin" on his "incubator" thingy instead of the name we gave him, "Christopher ROBERT" LOLOLOL!!!!

DD6- Cara-Jade
DD4 - Dean joshua Jordan
DD1 - Charlie Dylan James

We also lost a baby at a late stage, so he was named as well.

Boys names were always a problem for us to narrow down, which is why our sons have so many! Other names I like are: Rafferty, Luke, Oliver, Melody, Summer, Poppy, Ellie.

Hope all these help someone, and don't confuse them even more. Choosing a name can be fun, but boy can it cause domestics too

Mollie Jessica (12) – I choose Mollie even when I was adamant I was never going to have children , luckily for me the name suited her and I think still does. We did get some terrible stick at the time from both our families over our choice but now it’s a popular name!

Kirsty Louise (nearly 6) – DH and I couldn’t agree on names second time around. She was born the week before Christmas and as she was being delivered Fairytale of New York by Kirsty McCall and the Pogues was playing on the radio so I looked at DH and said “what about Kirsty” we both looked at her and agreed it suited her. Now when I hear that song it not only reminds me of Christmas but of the day my baby was born!

I like the name Robert, but our surname is Williams, and as I LOVE Robbie Williams I thought it might sound like I am a bit obsessed or something!!

My DD,s are Eliza Scarlett (9) and Poppy India (7)
Eliza from doolittle to meet my audrey hepburn obsession and scarlett of course because of gone with the wind,the name poppy came from nowhere! just popped into my head at about 8 months and India because, India o'hara is scarlett o'hara sister.
I could never ever think of boys names as I always secretly knew I would give birth to two of the master race!

I love the 2nd picture as it captures the magic of childhood . It was taken at the studios just after Jess had spent ages running through the rain at the 'singing in the rain' umbrella and whooping in delight at getting wet. All those rides and characters and her favourite thing was splashing in the rain .Aren't children magic !

I like Alexandra and Evie for girls, and Samuel and William for boys - DH likes Rhiannon and Connor (but we feel we're getting on a bit for having babies now we're in our 40's - I still don't feel old enough to have them though!!! yet know people who are grandparents and younger than me!!!!)

My oldest is Benjamin James aged 15 and is a name I always liked. Even when I was in junior school I said I would have a son and call him Benjamin James - so it was lucky I married a man with James as a middle name!
My youngest son who just turned 12 is Connor Lewis. Connor after a new zealand film actor (delicious!!) I drooled over when pregnant and Lewis because it fitted!
I love the actress who named her girl Apple - a refreshingly simple name dont you think?

You're right to wait and see I think. WE had picked out Kim or Susie for a girl and Nathan for a boy but after Jessica was born we didn't think she suited any of the names we had and even tried a few others until we got one that fitted her just right !

My DS's names are Daniel James (9) and Callum Lewis (7), wanted to call a daughter Megan but hubby didnt think much of it with our surname Not having any more but if i had a daughter, as she couldnt be called Megan, i'd love Scarlett or Grace

When josh was born, if he had been a girl, we liked Layla, not sure if we would have had it but it is nice.

I spoke to a woman a few weeks back with the name and I asked her if her parents were Clapton fans, she said "You know how many times i get asked that" (they were fans)

I have Amy Laura (age 11) & Charlotte Morgan (age 5). Charlotte often gets shortened at home to Lottie or even Lots!!!

I wanted to call the second one Amber or Summer but DH wanted something more traditional and Charlotte was the only one we could agree on! She suits Charlotte now though! Morgan is his mothers maiden name and we had to use it somewhere as there are no boys to pass it on!

As for Amy - my middle name is May and I really wish that I'd called her Amy May. I think using the same letters twice would have been quite clever!

Ours have Irish names (which are totally unpronounceable to anyone outside Eire)

DS is Aodhan - the Irish for Aiden (pronounced A-Dawn) and means little fire and
DD is Niamh (pronounced Neeve) and means she of the golden hair
