What are your best touring tips for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure?

Plus, didn't Universal Studios have a Wild West Show? Do they still and where is this located?

What types of rides do you like? Do you have children and, if so, how tall are they? Will you be staying onsite? If not, what time of the year will you be going?

I'm not the one to suggest a touring strategy, but one of the Universal Gods can better give you tips with the answers to these questions. :teeth:

I'm just looking for those "little known tips" for making your trip better. I know about staying onsite (can't be beat!)... just wondering if any insiders know of other great suggestions.

If you are going with young kids put them in a bathing suit under their clothes. There are so many places to get wet. Take time for the Curious George area. WET WET WET! and there is a foam ball factory in the circus tent. In Feivel's Playground area there is a water slide where you ride in a raft. We missed these our first trip. Across from Cat in the Hat there is even more water to play in. I put my kids in sandals and swim trunks and bring a beach towel with me.
