We are unexpectedly extending our trip one more night so we will have a full park day in Disneyland on July 4th! What strategy is best to watch the fireworks without staking out a spot hours in advance? Is there any kind of fireworks viewing from the GCH (our friends are staying there, although not in a balcony room or anything I think)? Keep in mind we have a toddler so planning to view them while riding Big Thunder Mountain won't quite work.
I wish Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln was going to be open! That seems like the perfect thing to do on July 4th. I know it'll be crowded but it'll be so nice to be at Disneyland for the 4th and not at home playing my least favorite game, "Gunshots or Fireworks?".
