The Boston flight could have been $155 on Song or JetBlue, both airlines with nonstop flights, but becaue I'll be travelling alone with my infant daughter on the way to WDW, our friend in Boston offered to pay more to connect in DC to help out with the baby and all her gear.

This price really annoys me as I've flown out of Newark to Orlando many times and never paid nearly this much. It was $246 for awhile, then went to $271, then $251 so when it dropped back to $246 we booked it.

Thanks to Southwest coming to Philly we are going again.

We are traveling on US Air May 27th thru May 31st.

Traveling from Philadelphia

Rates with all fees and taxes is 176.70

Depart PHL 5:40 pm

Depart MCO 9:21 pm

Booked over the phone and in person, we have vouchers from a previous flight (so our tickets are actually 146.70 RT)

We booked 2/14/04

Of course now that we've booked the Newark-Orlando flight on Continental, they changed the flight times and the flight into Orlando is no longer convenient for us (we had planned it to arrive the same time as another relative to share a towncar). I checked all their other options and none of them work out so I don't know what to do. I guess we'll leave it for right now until we can figure something out.

Also, this weekend we checked the price of my SILs flight on Delta from New Orleans-Orlando since they got one flight at 142.70 and the other at $155.70, hoping to see it drop back to $142.70 (which it did once, but I thought I could wait a few hours to call and when I did the price had gone back up). Well, we checked it using SideStep and so we got the prices for other airlines and Southwest is only charging $80 ROUNDTRIP for the flights they were initially on for $166 (but changed to Delta when those rates were lower)!!!! Ugh, I hate the game the airlines play!
