What are your 10 worst restaurants at WDW?

We have had some meals at Disney that were not the best but we are still at Disney so that makes up for it. We've gone to Spoodles 3 times and one of the times was not the best. First great, second not so, and the last time we really enjoyed it. Probably would go again and who knows. Some of the restaurants that have been mentioned on this post have always had some bad reviews so we have never tried them for that reason. We do rainforest every year on our first night and we always have a great time. We always get the same entree each year and have not been disappointed. Even if it was not good I think we would be okay because we know we are just starting our vacation. We have not gone back to Mexico because of bad service and not so great food. Luckily there are lot more places to go.

The only restaurant I've ever been really unhappy with was Rainforest Cafe at DTD. We had horrible service and the food was just mediocre - not nearly worth their prices.

1) Marrakesh
2) Capt Jacks or whatever in DTD, service was great!!! Food was HORRIBLE!!!
3) Mayan Grill at Coronado Springs
4) RainForest Cafe
5) Just about every restaurant at Disney Land and Downtown Disney California..it seems that in California, there is just no pixie dust or magic!!! Everybody was just so apathetic and appeared to be unconcerned about making any guest happy. It was really sad! I am a former castmember and I was just so disappointed with the restaurants in California...and this was not our first trip out there!

For the most part, we love all the restaurants in Disney World, but we mostly go to table service, not the counter service.

The only bad meal we ever had at WDW was at the ABC Commissary - yuck - we won't eat there again! I've also seen some of my favorites on other people's lists!

Crystal palace was awwwwwwwwwwful! never again!
50s prime time
rainforest cafe
:confused3

It always makes me sad to see people not liking rainforest cafe....I grew up in Los Angeles, and it was tradition once I got old enough to go alone with friends that we always ate at the one at Disneyland. I'm let down that it could be that different in two different places. This is going to be my first trip to disneyworld and I won't be going to rainforest to eat, that's for certain....I don't want to ruin a great memory.

Wwe just got back and our worst was Whispering Canyon. Last time the atmopshere, food, and service was great. THis time ---food was so-so, everything else horrible. They had no control over the "activities", a waitress was screaming at children as they were running with their horses (literally running) to listen to the rules, and most kids just looking around because no one really had control to tell them what to do. My kids knew from last time, but it was really unorganized---nothing like the last time we were there.

Food came quickly, but refills, etc took 40 minutes. Poor waiter was really nice, but either new or overwhelmed. He brought my DD bday cake out and left it at another table when someone stopped him for an error in their bill. We weren't sure if it was hers so we didn't go grab it, but took about 20 minutes for him to come back and bring it to her. Made the whole meal very long.

Mama Melrose
Cindy's Royal Table (for breakfast) most over rated meal in WDW
Rain Forest Cafe
These 3 were the worse of the worse.

I Personally have NEVER eaten at WDW RFC's but have eaten at several in other states and disliked each time. I personally just found the food over priced for what I got.
I also choose to eat at places that i can't eat at outside of WDW, granted i have been seen in MCd's on more than one occasion but it's usually a snack not my meal.

Noodle Station..far and away number one on my list

The food court in The Land at EPCOT
ABC Commissary
Coral Reef
Rainforest Cafe at AK
Food Court at CBR

We never had a bad experience at any restaurant we ate at!

DH didn't care for O'hanna though :confused3 I didn't care for the meal I had at WC... BUT that was because I went out on a limb and ordered something that I was curious about but had never tried before. I think if I had ordered something else I would have enjoyed it. DH and DS both loved their meal there.

Raglan Road was by far our fav...although Planet Hollywood was a close second for DS, lol!

Gosh does everyone dislike Mama Melrose? I saw the menu and thought it looked good. I thought we'd try there but now I'm scared!

I pretty much love disney food but I have 3 TS places I didnt care for and that would be Rainforest Cafe, H&V and Capt Jacks.

Honorable Mention

Alfredo's - that place was sooooo bad thank goodness they closed it - anything would be better than it was :scared:

I will share my Alfredo's experience with you.

I went with a group of coworkers to Alfredo's. I ordered a VERY complex order. I wanted a half order of alfredo and a Caesar salad. God created the earth and the heavens in less time then we waited. I noticed a server bring out a big platter of alfredo and set it on a serving table. It sat there for a good 15 mins or so. I even remarked to one of the people at the table I feel sorry for whoever gets that alfredo cause alfredo isn't a food that is good if its cold.

You guessed it, that was our alfredo. They divided up the alfredo at our table which I thought was odd. So I got my half order of cold alfredo.

I inquired about my salad. The server said I didn't order a salad. Excuse me? Um yeah I did. She proceeded to argue with me that I had only ordered a half order of cold alfredo.

At this point I was just pissed. I said I'm not a idiot, I ordered two small items clearly I would know what I ordered. It fine if you some how missed it, or forgot to order it in the kitchen but dont sit here and argue with me about what I didn't order.

I made it VERY clear that when she brought me my check it better not have any Caesar salad or alfredo on it. Considering I never got one of them, and wished I hadn't got the other I was not paying for either of them. I got my check for a glass of wine. It was 6.89. I tossed seven dollars on the table thinking the change would be her "tip" for her lousy service.

Outside a coworker said here is your change and handed me the 11 cents so I guess she got no tip after all.
