I'm a black woman, though I'm pretty fair skinned (I'm not biracial, but I'm lighter than most black/white biracial people I know). My Irish/German DH and I have about the same skin tone. When I saw the title of this thread, I knew I had to read it. If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked that question...
