My DS is going as Napoleon Dynamite and DH going as Kip (the brother) DD is a witch. DS 3 and me are undecided.

I am not sure if I am going to do a real costume. I am probably going to wear some Halloween pajama/lounge pants from Old Navy or gap with a matching t-shirt and a Mickey Bobber headband.

DGF and I are going as pirates. We bought costumes at CostumeCraze.com. Both, with shipping, were 80 bucks. They are shorts with short sleeved shirts, belts, bandana and included in the $80 were shoe buckles we bought.

Being from Colorado makes all of my costumes very hot. I'm thinking that my boys will be pirates just because it will be quick and easy and I already have tons of pirate stuff.

I was thinking about being Cruela Deville but think it will be too hot for that costume so I probably won't dress up

Dh is going as a pirate ( the fave choice this year) and I am going back and forth between pirates wench/ renaissance look and red riding hood ( think "Hoodwinked" not fairytale ).

I have Evil queen and Maleficent. I did have DS.com Minnie, but I returned it, as it was less than flattering. Last year I was Minnie (just polka dotted dress with DS ears & gloves, with face paint. The year before, I did a red Pooh shirt & golden yellow pants, with a Pooh ears headband. This year, I bought a cheap green dress & matching green material. I explained to DMIL how it should look (ok, printed a pic of the doll off internet), and she was able to transform me into a HM hostess! I'm having a bit of an issue with the hat, and I couldn't find an easy way to get black stripes on the green material, but it's definetly close enough! I have to figure out some little props that will help people to identify me. DH will probably just buy & wear one of that evening's party shirts, and DD3 will either be Cinderella, red Belle, or Ariel, depending on her preference. We'll be at the 9/15 party. See you there!

My kids will likely be pirates (I'm steering them in that direction). The whole thing (MNSSHP and the costumes) are a complete surprise to them - I'm letting them pick out costumes at DtD the day of the party.

I'm wearing basic black pants (comfortable/light weight), a black t-shirt, a black & white striped oversized button down shirt over it, a red sash, BIG gold hoop ear-rings, and probably an eye patch. I bought the eye patch - it is see-through, like sun glasses. But it will depend on how comfortable it will be to wear.

Mine has all the villians, DS is all the "Bad Boys" Villians and friends shirt is old witch with apple from Snow White(the shirt has glow in the dark eyes which makes it pretty freaky looking)

DH and I went as mousekateers (sp?) two years ago. I bought simple white T shirts and put our names on them with iron on black block letters. We wore black shorts and mouse ear hats. Last year we halloween T shirts. I want to get the Jack and Sally T shirts from TDS for this year, but of course I didn't buy them when I first saw them and now they don't have our sizes. Hopefully they will get more in.

Lucky us...no ds's or dh's to worry about on this trip. Just the two moms and the two 13th birthday girls....yippee. Anyway, the girls were going as Tink and as Ariel. Moms were just wearing festive tee's. But, my friend emailed me today...says she just bought her dd a Belle ball gown. Dd wanted one last year as a Disney princess...guess if you can't do it in WDW where can you do it!! So, my dd has changed from Tink to Aurora. She talked me into the dress at the Disney Store at the airport two years ago...it's short now, but thank heavens she's skinny! I do have my favorite Malificient costume...robe, headpiece and raven on a stick. But, my dd bought me a great black tee shirt over the weekend at the Disney Store...it has Malificient in gold on it. I may just wear that and the headpiece...way too hot for the whole costume.

My kids and I are going to be the three little pigs. DS will be "Practical Pig" and will wear a t-shirt & overalls. DD will wear white shorts & a yellow shirt. I'll wear white capris and a purple shirt. We will all have pig noses, ears, and tails. DH is wearing a Big, Bad Wolf t-shirt.

It's the only thing I could think of that's Disney, we could coordinate, and wouldn't be too hot.
