My house attire is usually comfy pants of some type and a t shirt. That won’t change on Christmas Day, since it’s all zoom this year. That, and I work at 1.
We are having a zoom Christmas Eve party which will include opening our secret Santa gifts, drinking, and playing board games. My mom has requested festive attire for that so I’ll have to come up with something.
Hanging above our living room fireplace this month is a photo of all of us, including the dog, in our Christmas pjs. I was able to get the photo blown up on the Costco website. This year's pjs have dinosaurs on them and are from Target. Last year's said on the shirt I want a (picture of a hippo) for Christmas. We also gave the kids hippo house shoes that they still wear. They loved the song when they were little.
Every Christmas Eve, they get a pair of Christmas pjs and a book my DH and I inscribed.
My pajamas all day long. We aren‘t having a large family gathering for Christmas this year because of COVID so DD and I will be home alone. Looking forward to just having pancakes for breakfast, watching movies, and eating appetizers the rest of the day.
Everyday clothes. Nothing special. I usually wear t-shirt and a pair of athletic shorts on my days off. If it's a bit chilly, I'll throw on a sweatshirt and some wool socks. I avoid dressing up or wearing pants at all costs.
Something comfy. I am getting the family new Christmas PJs so we will have them on all morning. It's just DH, me , and the kids. We will probably go for a hike so nothing fancy this year.
My nice clothes have sadly spent most of the year in the wardrobe, so I'm planning to dress up a little bit and wear one of my pretty dresses. I'll probably just wear sandals though (it's summer here) and definitely some Christmas earrings - I have so many that I wear a different pair every day of December!
