Seems like it is less wonderful each time. The characters have been very good each time; not hurried and very affectionate with the little ones. The festivities are fun, but they are better if you are in the main dining room and not in the areas up the stairs with windows overlooking the magic kingdom. The tables back there seem isolated from the character action.
The food is ok, but not exciting. Food was much better at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom by comparison. The bacon was just a tangled mess of half cooked grease; the sausage was good, the kids seemed to enjoy the sugar laden stuff like waffles and donuts; there was a good vegi pizza; the ambrosia was good; the egg casserole dishes were deplorable; the smoked salmon was a little tasteless; the fresh fruit was good.
All in all I would say that you are paying for the entertainment and the atmosphere and not the food. When we go to WDW next time we will probably go back will low expectations since the grandkids think it is fun and because we know the routine. Maybe we will try Cape May buffet for breakfast instead which has similar characters and maybe better food????
