I am reading the Dexter book series right now.. On book #3. Got the first 3 books for Christmas, and read the first two within a few days and now the third, and then I will have to buy the fourth. Already read the sookie stackhouse books, and twilight books...what to read after the dexter books?

Silly me I didn't realize that Dexter was a book series too. Cool.

Last weekend I read The Five Greatest warriors by Matthew Reilly. Great action adventure book.

Today I am starting Antartkos Rising by Jeremy Robinson. A sci fi thriller dealing with crustal displacement

I'm reading, The Flat Belly Diet, book for tips and recipes. Good tips. The recipes aren't appealing for our family. Maybe one or two so far.

I'm also reading, Immortal in Death. They are all good. :)

I love Nora Robert's books!!!! I live sooo close to her and one day want to go to one of her book signings!!!

Last night I started Sandra Brown's White Hot. I have read it before, and if I remember correctly, it was pretty good!!!!

I didn't get to the library to pick up anything new yesterday so I'll be starting the 3rd Harry Potter book today. That should make my DD happy. She was thrilled when I finally read the first two.

I just finished - Heres the deal, Dont Touch Me - Howie Mandel
Great read!

I have Like Water for Elephants and Kathy Griffins - Official Book Club Selection Memoir. Not sure which I will pick up next.

Some great ideas for future reading in this thread! :)

I've read some excellent books lately.

"The Poisonwood Bible"
"The Book Thief"
and I finished "Alex and Me" yesterday.

Loved all of them.:thumbsup2

I just finished Firefly Lane last night. It was about best friends and the first I have read by Kristin Hannah - I couldn't put it down though, I loved it.

I am in the middle of "The Help" (it was recommended in the past week or so by someone here on the DIS!) and I am really enjoying it! I don't know whether to read straight through or make it last longer, it is that good!

Thank you to whomever recommended it!!!!:)

Visions in White by Nora Roberts
I have never read any of her books and thought this might be a good one.

ITA! Terrific book.:thumbsup2

I'm reading "Silver Scream" by Mary Daheim. It's a nice, fluff book, easy read.

I LOVED that book. I don't know if I was the first to recommend it, but I believe that I was one.

Right now, I'm reading Hannah's Dream, about an elephant named Hannah. It's just wonderful and exactly what I need after finishing The Girl who Played with Fire. After that one, I wanted to cry because the author died after writing the third of ten books he'd planned.

I just finished "Drums of Autumn" in the Outlander series by Diane Gabaldon. Whoever recommended the first book, thank you. I've really enjoyed the read.

Now I'm not sure if I want to continue with "Fiery Cross" (next book in the series) or take a break and read "The Help." I already have both books on my Kindle.

I just finished The Boleyn Inheritance and started The Queen's Fool (on my new Sony Reader), so technically I'm not reading a book  I have The Virgin's Lover already downloaded to start that when I finish.
I started with The Other Boleyn Girl and was hooked so I plan on reading all Philippa Gregory's books about the Tudors.

I am reading the Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine. It is for YR but still fun to read for us "mature" women!

I just started The Book Thief today, and so far so good.

I enjoy reading some of the books for YR/Teens. I've been reading the vampire House of Night series by PC and Kristin Cast and am about to begin the current installment of the series, Tempted.

I'm reading Twilight: Eclipse. Decided to just finish the whole series before reading anything else. :)
