Just finished Nightwalker by Heather Graham, trying to decide what to read next. I have Amanda QUicks latest, along with two Clive Cusslers and Angel by CArla Neggers loaded on the Kindle.

I just finished Gravity by Tess Gerritson. Next I'm getting ready to read "The Forgotten Man" It's a history of the depression.

I just finished The Year of Wonders. Its an historical fiction novel about the bubonic plague in 17th century England. It was very good.

I just saw your post. I love the familiarity of Dallas and Roarke between the books. I will get, Naked in Death and Conspiracy in Death. I haven't read those yet. Thanks for the suggestions! :)

You would probably like Mary Jane Clark. She has a similar approach to series books as J.D. Robb. M.J. Clark (a TV producer IRL) has a core group that centers around a TV production crew. I like keeping up with the relationships and the mysteries they cover and become involved in.

You would probably like Wendi Corsi Staub too. She is terrific. Recently, I enjoyed reading, Dead before Dark, by her. I read a bunch of books by her last year. I haven't read a dud by her yet.

Thanx for the heads up. I'll check them out. I find it so hard to find good mysteries that keep me engaged now that I'm so into the In Death series. Couldn't even finish the DaVinci Code because I just kept wanting Eve to show up to balance the the guy out. Couldn't stand the main character for anything.

I just bought "The Forgotten Man" today. The bookstore clerk told me about it when I mentioned "The Worst Hard Time". She said it was a fantastic book and when I went to pay for it the cashier gave it rave reviews.

I just started reading "Breakfast with Buddha". So far I like it. I needed a little light reading so this is fitting the bill :thumbsup2.

---------------

The Five Love Languages Of Children - by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell

*Another great book that many parents could benefit from..:thumbsup2

------------------

Toxic People - 10 Ways Of Dealing With People Who Make Your Life Miserable - by Dr. Lillian Glass, Ph.D.

*Another awesome book for those who have toxic people who seep into their lives - sometimes without you even recognizing it.. ;)
--------------------

Not sure what I'm going to start next.. I have tons of books to choose from here - just have to see what I'm in the mood for..:goodvibes

Knock Out by Catherine Coulter.

So far it is typical of the FBI Thriller Series. There is alway one person that manages to get away and they will be on the hunt.

I am almost finished with A Given Day by Dennis Lehane. I am really enjoying it. I just found out they are making it into a movie. I loved Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone so I hope to love this too.

Vision in White by Nora Roberts - it's the 1st of a 4-part series....I finished it yesterday....:thumbsup2

Just finished reading Hot Mahogany by Stuart Woods a few days ago. Love his books.

I recently read his book, The Short Forever (one of the Stone Barrington novels) and really enjoyed it. I'll look for some more of those this summer.

Right now I am reading The Sisterhood by Michael Palmer and Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris.

The Sisterhood is a good storyline but it definitely was not an attention grabber from the get-go...had to give it a few chapters.

Dead Until Dark I think will be very entertaining once I get past my brain screaming at me that her version of vampires is ALL WRONG because I just finished the Twilight series and got completely sucked in, LOL. ;)

Half way thru The Flower Shop by Sherryl Woods. As with all her books, I really enjoy it-but it's so predictable.

Couldn't even finish the DaVinci Code because I just kept wanting Eve to show up to balance the the guy out. Couldn't stand the main character for anything.

You're welcome. :) I am also into the Death series. I am taking a bit of a break. I've been reading, The Accidental Tourist, by Anne Tyler. It's depressing, but I'm slogging through it. Funny, it's more depressing than say, a murder mystery :upsidedow but the main character is gray working through heavy problems, and I haven't gotten far enough to know the others. Hoping there will be some rays of light.

Next on deck is, Sleeping Murder, by Agatha Christie. Then I'll get back to J.D. Robb, and those 2 books you mentioned. Looking forward to them. Thanks again!

Interesting list! Could you tell me a little about the 5 Love Languages of Children? I'm also interested in the Toxic People book. Thanks for mentioning those! :)

I took a slight breather from bodice-ripping romance novels and just finished The Red Tent. It was recommended by a few friends and didn't disappoint. I've just started Water for Elephants. It's ok so far...not too far in.

Vision in White by Nora Roberts - it's the 1st of a 4-part series....I finished it yesterday....:thumbsup2

I read this a while back - it was a nice change back to the "old" Nora way of writing :goodvibes

Just finished her new hard cover - Black Hills :thumbsup2

The Love Season by Elin Hilderbrand

~story of a young motherless woman on a journey of self-discovery & her guilt ridden godmother's attempt to find the courage to confront the past.

Dead Until Dark I think will be very entertaining once I get past my brain screaming at me that her version of vampires is ALL WRONG because I just finished the Twilight series and got completely sucked in, LOL. ;)
Wait until you get further into this and the vampires get sexier. You won't keep thinking that she's wrong... just different.
