Right now it's Patricia Cornwell "The Front". A little strange at first but it's getting good. I'm half way through it. Should finish this evening.

A History of the Twentieth Century, Volume Two: 1933-1951 - by Martin Gilbert.

I've already read volumes one and three, but had trouble tracking this volume down.

Wait until you get further into this and the vampires get sexier. You won't keep thinking that she's wrong... just different.

re: the Sookie Stackhouse series: Do any of the rest of you that have completed the series dislike True Blood? I myself find it absolutely stupid and in no way like the books. Just my humble opinion. Off my soapbox now, lol.

Just finished EAT, PRAY. LOVE.

Yeah. I know. I'm about 2 years behind everyone else but I keep putting off reading it thinking it would be "too religious."

I LOVED IT and felt it was very uplifting and not at all preachy.

I liked the books alot, but like you I do not like the show at all.

Don't feel bad. I haven't read it yet. But it's on the to do list.

Just finished last night! One part had me laughing so hard I had to stop reading, stop crying so I could see the words!! LOVE this series.

I have a few Kristin Hannah's to read now...

I just finished The Year of Wonders. Its an historical fiction novel about the bubonic plague in 17th century England. It was very good.

I really enjoyed this book, too. Glad to know I'm not alone.

I just finished "Doomsday Book" by Connie Willis, and I really enjoyed it! It was a page turner. I thought I would hate it, but was pleasantly surprised.

Next up is "Cold Sassy Tree" for book club. It should be quick since I read it years ago. Then it's on to American Gods by Neil Gaimon.

...could I just read Finger-Lickin' Fifteen or should I read the others first??

[...I just bought Smoke Screen by Sandra Brown yesterday, so I will be starting that one...]

I read this a while back - it was a nice change back to the "old" Nora way of writing :goodvibes

...yeah, I think so too (don't like the J.D.Robb ones)- but the next one isn't due out until December! :headache:

Why yes I am. :goodvibes Anyways seriously Kim, read the other ones including the Motor Mouth Series and the outside the numbers books. They are too funny to pass up. You will really get a feel for the characters.
