I am reading 'Black Out' by Lisa Unger. I highly recommend this one if you like suspense/mysteries. It usually takes me a while to finish a book because the only time I have to read is for an hour or so before bed, but I started this one on Sunday and I'm already halfway through. I cannot put it down.

I'm reading, Dead Before Dark, by Wendi Corsi Staub. It's a good summer read. Good whodunit. I don't know who is committing the crimes. There are several that may fit the bill. I like to wonder until the end.

I just finished "A Prayer for Owen Meany". I really liked this book! I wasn't sure I was going to, but I ended up really liking it!

Next up is "The Battle of the Labyrinth", by Rick Riordan, and I have "Doomsday Book" waiting for me at the library. I also need to re-read "Cold Sassy Tree" for book club in August and my father loaned me a copy of "Ella Minnow Pea" which he really enjoyed. I need more hours in the day!

I just finished Nora Roberts' newest "Vision in White," which I very much enjoyed.

I'm on to "Darcy's Passions" by Regina Jeffers. My DH makes fun of it constantly because of the title, but it's really good. It's Pride and Prejudice from Darcy's POV.

Just got my hands on Finger Lickin Fifteen. About half way thru with it. There has been some laugh out loud moments but not as many as usual.

It is for my dissertation research, and the book is a harrowing account of the German concentration camps. It isn't exactly a pleasurable read, but it is however a heart rending historical tale that I feel deserves to be noticed. After all, if we do not take notice of history, we are of course doomed to repeat it!
