What Are You Reading Right Now?

Yesterday I finished When You are Engulfed in Flames, by David Sedaris. I enjoyed it, but was a little disappointed when I realized I had already read almost half of it--many of the stories were previously published in the New Yorker, which I have a subscription to.

This morning I started The Garden of Last Days, by Andre Dubus III. I am only about four pages into it. I loved The House of Sand and Fog by him.

I just started "The Secret Bride" by Diane Haeger.

It is about Mary Tudor the sister of King Henry VIII, so far so good!

Yesterday I finished reading Hold Tight by Harlan Coben love his books.

I finished The Friday Night Knitting Club. It was predictable in spots and I felt like the last 50 pages were a little rushed, but I really did enjoy the story. I was in tears in a few different spots.

Now I'm trying to read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, though I'm having a tough time getting into it (maybe because I've only been trying to read it in the morning before my brain is fully awake).

I've also started Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster. I'm only about 16 pages in, but it's already pretty good.

Will do. I read her newer one first Such A Pretty Fat, not realizing that she had two others, and it was hysterical. I expect this might be more of the same.

I just finished The Thirteenth Tale...it was really great! A gothic ghost story, sort of.

I am just about to start Gone With the Wind...I never read it before, so I thought I would make it my first summer reading book! It's quite hefty to tote around though!

We read this for book club at one point and found that you either love her or hate her. There isn't a lot of middle ground. A lot of times I forgot she was a real person!!

I'm reading Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro right now for book club.
