I've read almost all Beverly Lewis books but this one has a really great twist!

Just starting Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson. His own stuff is as good as what he's done with Robert Jordan's stuff.

Just finished Mennontie in a Little Black Dress. It was okay. Quite a few people told me how fabulous the book was. It took me over 2 months to get through the hold list at the library. It was just okay. Not bad by any means but I didn't get the LOVE for this book.

I just started My Name is Mary Sutter (another long wait at the library for this one) and it grabbed me right away.

I agree! I liked it but didn't really love it. I got about half way through it and started thinking, when is it going to end. Just got a little tired of it.

I am in the middle of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. It's a wonderful story. The foot binding chapter at the beginning was not fun to read though

My DD finally convinced me to start The Hunger Games.

I told her she should have pushed me harder to read it sooner. I'm finding it very interesting.

She was looking for something to read and I told her she'd love When the Wind Blows by James Patterson. She read over 200 pages today, so far.

So, both of us chose well for the other.

I'm reading the Hunger Games trilogy right now. It's a children's book series, but is on the same level as Harry Potter, and is very good.

After having it on my shelf for over 2 years, I am finally reading Pillars of the Earth. So far it has grabbed me right from the beginning.

My hesitation in reading it was the length. Almost 1,000 pages long, but if it keeps moving as quick as it has the last few days it shouldn't take me too long. I was kidding with my DH the other day & said, "Wow, I only have a little over 900 pages to go in this book & I just started it yesterday!!!"

I was a little disappointed in "Cold Comfort Farm," but "The High King" by Lloyd Alexander (the final book in the Chronicles of Prydain (Black Cauldron) series) is making up for it!

I'm flying through 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson. It's about a 17 year old girl who is sent to Europe by her aunt. She has to complete different tasks before reading the next envelope and continuing her journey. It is all about personal growth though and I'm enjoying it.

I'm waiting for Mockingjay! it comes out tomorrow and I can't wait to continue the Hunger Games trilogy.

I, too, can't wait! My kids start school tomorrow, so I'm sending them out the door, and plan to read all day long!

I re-read "The Hunger Games" and "Catching Fire" in anticipation, so I'm all ready!

I am also reading through the Scott Pilgrim series. Currently volume 4.
