My favourite book of all time is the Catcher in the Rye by J D Salinger.

I've have this book in my book case however not got round to reading it yet. :)

Finished reading Sandra Browns -White hot, really enjoyed it. :thumbsup2
I have just today finished reading Jodi Picoult-Keeping Faith. Also read Plain Truth in the last week or two and The pact. Both by Jodi Picoult.

For a little light reading i read victoria Beckhams autobiography. :rotfl:

Loved "The Historian," although it could have been about 100 pages less.

I just finished "The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets" by Eva Rice, and I absolutely loved it. It's not really chick lit, but it's certainly not a guys' book either. It's set in England in the mid-50s, and it's got a nice, old-fashion feel to it.

Could I ask for some advice please. I absolutely loved 'P.S. I Love You' and although I've never read any of their books, I really like Jenny Eclair and Marian Keyes, therefore could you recommend some girly and funny books that I could try

Thanks Mandy :)

Mandy, have you read the Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella? They are really great and very amusing. I love all Marian Keyes books and also Sheila O'Flanagan and Cathy Kelly :thumbsup2

Deep Heat by Chris Manby is also a good book.

I hope you enjoy it when you get round to it. It's a good one to read when you're feeling down because it makes you realise you're not alone.

I've just finished the 'Constant Gardener' by John Le Carre, it was great, can highly recommend it! :thumbsup2 Think i'll start Angels and Demons next after reading those good things about it! Would you say its the best out the other Dan Brown books? (other than Da Vinci Code of course!) I also love all books by Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Rees who write together.

I bought Gloria Hunniford's book about her daughter Caron Keating in Tesco today. The thing is I really want to read it but I'm in the middle of a not very interesting book at the moment so I should finish it first however I'm very tempted to just get stuck into my new one.

I am currently reading Nelson's Trafalgar: The Battle That Changed The World , by Roy Adkins.

I am also re-reading Patrick O'Brian's Post Captain .

Under the Duvet by Marian Keyes.

Just finished The Jigsaw Man by Paul Britton, it was excellent. Not a novel, he is a forensic psychologist and has been involved in lots of high profile cases. He does offender profiling for the police.
