What are you hoping to book BLT or Treehouses?!!

Would love to know where you guys are hoping to book on 8th/22nd Feb............we are hoping for a few days in both, but I know that as non-owners we may not get either!!!!!

I just don't know. We have a BCV studio for the last weekend in September, it's F&W time, do I really want to give it up to try to get BLT? It may be the only time we can get into BLT, and even then, maybe we can't. Of course, if we were going to MNSSHP on Sunday night, that could tip the scale to BLT.

Will probably call back in April to check availability at BLT for my birthday in November. Most likely I'll reserve VWL and have to wait list for BLT.

New owner here and can't wait to go "home" at the beginning of Dec. I don't think there should be issues with booking BLT especially since it is opening early and the owners all seem to be going at different times starting in Aug, I could be completely wrong though. Keeping fingers crossed.

I'm so glad you guys want to book the BLT, we need the THV, so I'll be on the phone on hold with everyone else!!!! I think they should at least open it up a day apart so we THV's aren't competing for phone time with the BLT'ers. I'm worried that I shouldn't wait since their are only 60 THV's available!!! I've wanted to stay there since our first boat ride from POFQ in 2002! Good luck to everyone trying to get your dates

We're hoping for a LV studio 9/11 - 9/14. I need to go to some training at the Contemporary, so we thought that we would make a long weekend out of it. In the future, we will probably look for a 1BR.

What is the advantage to having more than one person calling for the same reservation? Doesn't that just take up the phones for everyone else that is also trying to call in?

I'll be up before 6AM (West Coast) this Sunday trying to snag a THV for 2 nights in Nov. I'll be very very sad if I give up a vacation/sleep-in day and I don't succeed.

We'll be on a mini vacation to the coast this weekend where cell phones don't work so I may have to drive ten miles to the next town to get my cell phone to work.

Hey Goofygal- looks like we plan to go the same week as eachother, we're looking for a LV 1 bedroom so at least you are one member I am not in competition with for my ressie.

What is the advantage to having more than one person calling for the same reservation? Doesn't that just take up the phones for everyone else that is also trying to call in?

Based on my experience of trying to book Cinderella breakfast, the advantage to having more than one person calling is to get past the busy signal. Once one of the phone lines gets in the queue, then that person is going to get through first, so only one phone is really on the line, anyway.

NOT saying this is going to be needed, just saying why it has been in different circumstances.

My 7-month window doesn't open until the end of the month, so I won't be part of the fun on those Sundays. By the way, when can you make non-home (DP in my case) reservations for Sept. 29, Feb. 28 or March 1?

I'm sure that all you owners will be just fine.................we know that it will be mega busy, but hopefully DVC will have pre-empted this and will have some extra people manning the phones!
Make yourself a cup of tea before you call and settle down for the wait........just think how good you're going to feel once you've secured your reservation! So excited for you all!!!

Now, for those of us who aren't owners.....all we can do is wait....and wait.....
