What are you hoping to book BLT or Treehouses?!!

BLT 1BR MK view early Sept. for us!

If it's anything like calling the day Kidani opened for reservations, it's going to be a LONG wait and frustrating morning trying to get through! I can only think it will be at least that bad with BLT and THV booking that day.

I also want the last weekend in September..... a studio MK view. But, if I can't get it then I guess I'm "stuck" in the ressie I already have...... LOL !!

I would be "Stuck" with a concierge room at AKV, so it's not horrible at all. I have to wait for two more days after BLT opens up to non-owners for the dates I want.

It is a hard debate over concierge and MK view but I think I'll try for it and see what I get.

I am hoping to get 1 night at BLT in a MK view studio for Sept 24. My sister and I are spending a couple of days at WDW after our DCL cruise. We have two nights booked at BCV for now and we want to keep BCV for the Friday night since we will spend that day in Epcot for opening day of the Food & Wine Fest and want to make sure we have a short walk home after all that food and wine but we would like to try BLT for 1 night.

I'm not looking forward to Sunday morning. I'll be happy when my reservation is made and I can stop stressing it.

Someone mentioned the hold time for some AK opening. Just how long was the wait? You all are starting to scare me....

Calling Feb 8 for Treehouse..... hoping to go last week of August this year. I have no interest in BLT at this time.

I will have to see BLT sometime.... not a fan of CR style so not too keen

Hey Goofygal- looks like we plan to go the same week as eachother, we're looking for a LV 1 bedroom so at least you are one member I am not in competition with for my ressie.

Haha! That is good to know! Every little bit helps!! It is just going to be crazy on Sunday!!

I'm sure that all you owners will be just fine.................we know that it will be mega busy, but hopefully DVC will have pre-empted this and will have some extra people manning the phones!
Make yourself a cup of tea before you call and settle down for the wait........just think how good you're going to feel once you've secured your reservation! So excited for you all!!!

Now, for those of us who aren't owners.....all we can do is wait....and wait.....

I've never had a busy signal when calling Disney...I have been on hold for over 10-15 minutes before. Do you think we'll be getting busy signals and having to try to keep calling? I didn't think about that....was just thinking I'd be on hold forever!

only want standard studios - so since most of you are going for the MK or BL - mind might work.

would like one night in Nov, still thinking about Dec - guess need to decide before Sunday!

BLT, standard view studio last week of Aug. Funny thing is, it's not for us. Our friends will be staying there before we get the chance to. We are already booked (and paid for) next door (CR), concierge level. I thought about canceling but decided to keep our points for March '10. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find a description of the BLT standard view view (parking lot, pool, dumpster)??? Good luck to everyone. Hope you all get what you need

I just got off the phone with MS. I had to call because on the member site it stated I couldn't bank points and I needed to call MS. (still don't know why,but was told not to worry about it...maybe once contract is finished it will fix itself).

Anyways, I wanted to make sure I could book w/out issues on Sunday. She said yes, expecct it to be busy!! She said she normally works on Sundays, but they are asking cm's to come in and work on sunday, even if it's just half a shift. they KNOW how busy it's going to be!!!

Just don't take it away from ME !!!! I want to spend the whole weekend there and really won't switch resorts after one night. I' want to get my studio from the 24th of Sept until the 27th. I hope there is still two left cuz we will be calling the same morning.

I will be at my office with 5 volunteers on 25 phone lines Sunday morning Yes I am making the trek to work to access all the available lines on each phone with my family and my son's friend We are looking to book a 1br MK view 12/13-12/23/09 (BLT of course) I'm comin' home!

this is a guess - the lower part of the parking lot (without views of the MK), the CR view but just the lower part.

someone else say that the higher parts of both can see a lake - so not all of the lake views are on the inside circle.

now some will be seeing seven seas lagoon not bay lake - water is water.

We're hoping for almost two weeks surrounding Thanksgiving at BLT Hoping for a studio MK view and 2 BR LV......can't wait to go home!!!!

I didn't even realize that BLT and THV were both opening up for reservations on the same day! Yikes! You'd think someone would have thought that one through. Yet, my DH frequently tells me that the world doesn't live in 'Sheriville'!

I'll be on the phone - on hold- with the rest of you changing our 2 night pre-stay for our cruise in October from a 2br at SSR to a THV. We aren't heading to the parks this trip and we thought it'd be fun to try something new and different!

I am so nervous about this reservation thing on Sunday. I really hope we are able to get what we want as this is Grand Gathering for my parent's 40th anniversary. My Dad was going to take my mom anywhere and she wanted to go to Disney with the grandkids. I am hoping for studio MK view Nov 24-Dec 1 and 2 bed ded MK view Nov 25-Dec 2. Good luck to you all. We will all have to meet on the dis while we are waiting on hold.
