What are you hoping for on Amazon Prime Day?

I got the Echo for DH, and am sitting on the fence about the deal on an xbox one that's bundled with a couple of games, controller, and $50 gift card. Just not sure I want to put one upstairs for the kids AND have one downstairs...I'm afraid I'll never see them again.

I picked up 3 cases of Pampers (2 for niece and 1 for my little man) but didn't see much else.

Bought a Silhouette Cameo starter bundle that was a lightning deal this am. Price was $50 lower than it's ever been - and I've been watching for months. Had a hard time adding it to my cart, but during the time it took, it went from 91% claimed, to 96%! Within 5 mins of ordering, it sold out. Happy birthday to me!
Oh, also bought an 8-cup capacity French press set that's normally over $70 for $29

There was soooo much to wade through. I did however peek in on that instant pot thread yesterday so that got me to order the Instant Pot for $70. I really need some help with cooking meals quick and more veggies so I'm hoping it will be a good purchase! Also got some boring stuff- I started just checking for things I needed or had been meaning to buy. Paw patrol underwear (DS3 I HOPE will be potty trained one day?!), a Paw Patrol shirt for him, a double laundry basket for his big boy room and a set of spin and lock pantry containers that I had been wanting for a while- usually $50 on sale for $26. So nothing really exciting but good deals. I was surprised the Paw Patrol stuff was a prime special.

I ended up with an Amazon Fire Stick with a voice remote for $35. We have a Roku stick for our upstairs TV and the remote broke. I looked on Amazon and NONE of the replacement remotes (except the OEM one which is out of stock on Roku and over $30 on Amazon) work with the stick. I thought I might as well try the Fire Stick on our downstairs TV. I think I can control the Roku with my phone.

Love my Fire Stick, bought it when it was first released. No voice remote, but I have the app on my phone and has voice remote feature.

THe voice remote was only $10 more and people really liked it. I have access to Netflix and Amazon Streaming through my Blueray player, but it's a PITB to use. I'm looking forward to an easier solution.

I was streaming Amazon and Netflix to my Kindle Fire and just wanted to watch on a TV instead of a 7" device. there was no voice remote when I bought mine.

I got the Instant Pot for $69.99 saving myself $50.00!!

I had one in my cart but I never pulled the trigger and ordered. My husband told me to go for it if I wanted it, I just wasn't sure how much I would use it. Now I'm regretting not ordering it, lol

You sound just like me- had it in there, asked DH what he thought... he said "go for it if you want sounds neat" and I waited until right before we went to bed, then went on my phone and ordered  I hope it lives up to my expectations! I have to say, I never would have ordered it if I hadn't read the thread on the instant pot. I'm hoping it will help out with weeknight meals. I'm sure they'll have big deals on it black friday! Kitchen stuff usually gets discounted pretty well.

I got the $33 Kindle. I don't usually shop on Amazon, and I'm pretty techno-stupid so I don't have a 'real' cell phone (I have a tracfone, though), no netflix or streaming or anything, but I decided to get the Kindle. My DD22 bought hers about a month ago and loves it; it was SO much more convenient to lug along when we went on vacation. I travel quite a bit, so I thought maybe I'd buy this. I asked DH and he said, "Sure, go for it," so I did! (Is it just me, or are a lot of husbands saying this? Do they teach this in husband school or something? LOL!)

If it helps any, I made a turkey dinner start to finish in about 45mins (up to pressure, 25mins cook, 10min release) in mine the other night. Considering the packaging said to roast for 2 hours (3lb turkey breast roast) I didn't think that was too shabby.

Well shoot! I would have purchased a kindle for $33 if I had seen it! I'm going on a cruise next month and a kindle would have been great.

I was looking for some luggage for my upcoming trip and should have bought the Samsonite deal with backpack for $120 but it was gone quick. I ended up going to Macy's sale and got two sets of luggage for my nephews for $40 each plus free shipping.

I looked but didn't buy anything. A few days earlier I was checking out pots and pans sets for DS's college apartment. I was trying to decide if I should spend $40 - $50 on a throw away set or invest $130 in a nice Cuisinart MCP starter set that would last him for years. I found the older style Cuisinart MCP set for $129 a few days earlier but waited until Prime day to pull the trigger. By then it was loooong gone!

I bought the Garmin Vivofit for 39.00. I have the Vivofit 2 and my 10 year old has been bugging me to wear it...........he wont care that it doesnt have all the functions of the others. Mark his first CHristmas gift off the list. :)

Things we ended up buying:

The Kindle Variety pack (16GB Kindle and two 8GB Kindles) for $80
A new pack and play for my son
The little tykes bike thing for my son
A rc car for my son
A hello kitty suitcase for the upcoming trip
A solid state drive and some memory for DBF (who just had to have it)
A sundress and two Cardigans for upcoming trip
Packing cubes
A safe (since my old landlord took my safe)
The fire stick
Fire tablet for kids for my son
AmazonBasic travel case for small electronics
A bluetooth keyboard for the kindles
Wireless adapter
and a 2nd car seat for our 2nd car.

I never really overspend and I'm bit embarrassed of this list. Excluding the electronics (which DBF is paying for), I spent about $250ish

I kinda regret not getting the pressure cooker.
