St. Patrick's dinner today?? I'm not Irish at all but isn't everyone Irish today??? Well I am having rueben sandwiches…not sure how "irish" it is but I figured the corned beef made it " irish" for me.

I was going to do corned beef, but I caught about 3 minutes of Kevin Dundon on some stupid talk show this morning and decided to do the Raglan Road shepherd's pie instead.

Corned beef, boiled red potatoes, carrots and cabbage. Homemade coleslaw, rye bread and Irish soda bread.

Washed down with plenty of cold beer!

Sigh. I had to pick today to start a healthier program beginning with a food elimination cleanse. DH mentioned last night that we should delay for a day or two but I am famous for that - have been delaying since we got back from our trip a month ago,so tonight I'm having fish and green beans.

Nothing special today just French Dip Sandwiches. We had corned beef etc Saturday and hash for breakfast yesterday.

I eat my corned beef like colcannon though. Drives my husband crazy when I sit there and mash it all together etc. It's so good though! YUM!

We had to have our St. Paddy's Day dinner yesterday. DH has a meeting tonight so we had to do it a day early. I made two corned beefs (and that almost wasn't enough for 5 of us), cabbage, boiled potatoes, freshly cut carrots and Irish soda bread. We hardly had any left-overs!
