What are you doing this weekend?

Today we have tons of errands! Food store, wine shop, dry cleaners, best buy to pick up a birthday gift for Liam (camera). Then we are going to watch as many movies as we can cram in to get ready for the Oscars. We still have Walk the Line, Capote, Junebug, and Pride and Prejudice to watch. I think we've seen the rest.

Tomorrow we are having linner (lunch/dinner) early with Dsis, her kids, and my parents. Then tomorrow night we will watch the Oscars. We usually have people over for the broadcast, but not this year.

Oh, and I have lots of laundry to do also. But I am ignoring it.

we are getting ready to head out to the library to return some books, then head to get ds new sneakers at the new balance factory, as he informed us last night his toes are crushed in the ones he has. after that we are heading to the inlaws (with pizza) so that my mil can take ds karate school patch off one top, and put it on a bigger top. (like the shoes, he has also grown out of this too). after there we will head home and relax.
sunday i will get ready for the upcoming week, and ds and dh i am sure will play video games while i DIS.

we are having a sad weekend, crying, had to put down one of our dogs on Thursday............not quite the weekend I had planned.

Last night I piddled around, so today is chore day!!! Actually, I'm in the middle of a huge cleaning job - two attic crawl spaces and the upstairs playroom. So I sorted another Rubbermaid box and brought down this week's trash - six bags, two cardboard boxes (to recycle) and some large plastic things that might have been part of a swimming toy at one time. Oh, and sadly, Cinderella's carriage (part of a Barbie set from years ago) has seen better days so out it goes, too. This is the best weekend for me to do this - both daughters out with friends overnight tonight and garbage day on Monday!!! Lots can be thrown out and no one but me knows what went!!!!

Later I'll shower and run a few errands, then have dinner with a friend. Tomorrow, more attic!!!!!

Celebrating....... my DS (17) got his hair cut today......it was lets just say "overgrown skateboarder " look....now - it's short - very short - almost military look!!!!!!


Other than that - laundry today - church tonite with my dad.
DH going to a Wild Game dinner tonite

Work tomorrow......trying to stay warm.....

Well, I just finished my masters and defended my thesis on Tuesday so I did some job searching and am now using the weekend to CLEAN the apartment and RELAXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!

I'm also contemplating taking down our Christmas tree... or decorating it for St. Patrick's day

And tonight I'm watching Lady and the Tramp- I bought it Tuesday and can't wait to watch it. DBF has a huge exam for med school on Monday and he's in study mode so I get the apt to myself to veg


Oh and I'm going to the Y to workout at some point... it's weight day

Well I was going to hold off on laundry and cleaning my bedroom and bathroom until Sunday afternoon, but I finally got fed up with the mess, so the 2nd load is in the wash/first load in the dryer and both the bedroom and bathroom look good.

There's no reason why my laundry can't be washing and drying while I'm on the DIS.

but then I grew up!!
DH will be at ice rinks most of the weekend as DS 16 has Provincial hockey tournament for the 3 days and DS 9 has just a normal 1 day hockey tournament, and I will be home with DD 7 who is sick with a 103 degree fever and bad cold----yeah, a great weekend planned here!

Good Evening....today DD and I had a Mommy, Daughter thing.
We went to the spa and had out tootsies done. Tomorrow DD, DGS and I
are going to see Disney on Ice. DH and I did take a ride out in the park
today as the sun was shining and was nice out for a change.

Getting over the flu and taking care of my 12yo who has the flu. Not a fun weekend. Hopefully it won't pass to the rest of the family who hasn't had it yet.
