What are you doing for the first time this trip?

What a fun thread!

It's been a few years since our first trip, so I feel like we will experience a lot of new things!

  • 7DMT
  • Be Our Guest
  • Fantasmic
  • Brown Derby
  • First time to stay at AKL
  • Boma
  • Osborne Lights

We're headed back in February and doing the Keys to the Kingdom Tour for the first time. My wife is super excited.

We're headed back in February and doing the Keys to the Kingdom Tour for the first time. My wife is super excited.

You should be! Great way to spend a good part of the day. Be sure to arrive plenty early so you can explore Main Street with very few people.

Firsts that I know of so far for our trip in march:

Savannah view room at AKL
Boma
Via Napoli
Frozen Sing Along
Mama Melrose
7DMT hopefully

My trip will not be until the beginning of May of 2016 but I like to plan early :) So far my planned first include:

Going to Epcot
Hoop Dee Doo Revue
Character Meal(probably Ohana breakfast)
Wishes Dessert Party(hopefully)

This is our 1st time visiting since the fantasy land expansion finished (last trip was 2011) so all of that will be new for us including dinner reservations at BOG.

We're doing the wishes desert party on my son's birthday.

Flying and using a rental car (we prefer to drive and have in the past).

January! we've been in September both years prior.

Hoping to try a few new counter service places.

And our baby is a little boy now, so it will be a completely new experience with him :)

I'm gonna surprise my wife with a Wild Africa Trek tour this trip. She loves animals and Animal Kingdom is always a must visit on any of our trips. She doesn't even know this tour exists so it should be a great surprise for her.

We'll try some new restaurants this trip as well. I might also try to throw in a Keys to the Kingdom tour as well but I'll wait til we're there to see how things are going first.

First off, weighing in on Via Napoli, I love it; go there every year. But as a PP said, you will find pro and con opinions on every restaurant, so if there's something (anything) you want to try, go for it.

Now, new things for the next trip!
My first visit during Epcot Flower & Garden
First time having dinner at Narcoossee's and BOG (have had lunch at BOG)
7DMT, of course. Also, Frozen Sing-Along
And I just might, might talk myself into finally trying Everest. :scared1:

Our new things this trip:
Be Our Guest
7DMT
Anna and Elsa M&G
Teppan Edo
Via Napoli
1900 Park Fare breakfast
Beaches and Cream
Frozen Sing Along
Finding Nemo show
Flights of Wonder
And we are driving instead of flying.

Ours for our trip at the end of the month:

All of the Christmas decorations, shows, etc.
7DMT
BOG Lunch
Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour
NYE fireworks on the 30th at MK and 31st at HS

New things next trip:
-Staying at our home resort, SSR
-Eating at Mama Melrose, Tony's, Portobello at DTD, BOG dinner, Tusker House
-Riding Haunted Mansion with DD and DS
-Campfire singalong at FW
-Meeting the Big Hero 6 characters

Well, our last trip, we drove, ate meals in our room at POP, only had 4 park days, and had a 2 year old. So, you could say this next trip, just about everything will be new!!
1. Staying at CR
2. Older kids
3. Eating at WDW restaurants
4. Getting to see all of each park
5. Going to do some resort exploration
6. Getting PH tickets
7. Flying down

So yeah, pretty much all new!! :thumbsup2

Perfectly prices tea
DH running his first marathon
Only visiting 2 parks on this trip -taking our time to do everything DD wants.
Celebrating my birthday at WDW!!

Hurry up Christmas-so we can get to January!!

For the first time in 2015, our vacation will not include Disney.

But in September when we went......first time at CSR, first time at BOG, first time using FP+, and first time we weren't sad when we left or looking forward to our next trip......which takes me back to my original statement.

This will be our first time doing MVMCP! Normally we don't arrive until the parties are over so I'm very excited to finally go!!!!!! :hyper:

Neat thread! Loved reading the responses. Clearly the SDMT is the #1 to do...

For us...

* We went in May 2014, the week before SDMT opened. So. SDMT!

* We will try either a water park (if it's warm) or Disney Quest (if it's cold) since our tickets include these free.

* Sorcerers! Plan to spend a 1/2 day on this.

* A few restaurants. Isn't there a new TS coming to AK? We'll probly try that.

* Dolphin. Hey we never stayed there, so doing a couple days here.

Other than that, we're still a year out so we don't have much planned.

Here are our firsts:

* Booking a trip fewer than 90 days in advance
* Dinner at Raglan Road
* Possibly bowling at Splitsville
* Lunch at Tusker House
* Dinner at Trattoria al Forno
* Attending Cirque du Soleil :joker:
* Being there on my birthday (I've left Disney the day BEFORE my birthday, and I've arrived at Disney the day AFTER my birthday, so we're finally hitting the nail on the birthday head by being there ON my birthday! :cool1::cake:)

We're doing Trattoria al Forno and Cirque ON my birthday... very excited about that night. :)
