Originally I was thinking about all the summaries I need to grade this weekend. I have put them off for far too long.

I've been procrastinating on the grading by thinking about and looking at all the vintage picnic/tailgate stuff I want for DS's college football game tailgates. Why do I keep getting sucked in to wanting to buy all this vintage stuff?

My older brother's state of mind as he waits for test results (Brain biopsy, MRI's, CT Scan, and soon a Spinal Tap if needed) Anyone following my earlier thread understands my concern. He has had multiple mini strokes while he waits. His first drug to help was Prednisone now he is on another because he had a few mini's since his Prednisone use was introduced one resulting in an ambulance to ER and monitoring for a day. I've come to understand that it can take up to 3 months to get an operating room date, and bed because of our significant back log here in Canada. Sigh.

Thoughts, and prayers greatly appreciated ongoing.

Prior to logging in I was thinking aobut how I still have not found a vacation home for our next trip despite contacting several owners.
But after I read a few threads now I'm currently thinking about how ridiculous one of them is getting. (Don't worry. It's not this one lol.)

So mad that I caught cold # 2 for the month of September. Had the first one for 2 weeks. It was fading. Then full blown runny nose, sneezing, cough , sore throat and chills appeared yesterday. Ugh! It's rare I get sick, but 2 in one month. Blech!

I've had a lot going on lately and I guess my immune system is off.

I've got Adele's "Send My Love" stuck in my head, purely because she's currently on at least 3 of my 6 presets at any given time. Wondering why all her songs are dirges about bad relationships. Wondering when I'll be fully recovered from last week's surgery. Today was hard.
Also stressing over the election. One of the biggest benefits of last week's surgery was that during the 3 days I was hospitalized, I had no social media and minimal broadcast media access (the TV in the hospital was on things like TVLand, etc). It was nice to not be blasted with election crap all the time.
