What are you afraid of?

It's good to have a healthy fear of vitamins.

*health

*vitamins

*get it?

Like Oddball, the only thing I fear is fear itself. Fear scares the bejeebers out of me!!! *shivering with.........uh.....nervousness*

Im not really sure how to put it but I guess of someone watching me all the time. Im very paranoid.

I have a completely unreasonable fear of alligators/crocodiles. This fear is ridiculous because I live in Pennsylvania.

falling !!!!

it's not really a height thing because I can look out tall building and anything enclosed, but anything I feel I can fall from brings me to tears.

I wish I didn't have this because I can't do most of the 'cool' rides at any theme parks. Everyone is having fun and I sit there holding the bags.

Even my husband can't get it - for example I can go to the top of the Empire State Building and lean against the railing because I'm sure not going to crash through, I feel safe riding the Monorail at Disney even if I have to stand near the doors, but if I take even four steps up a ladder I break into a sweat and feel faint.

Once when was sixteen, I tried to get over my fear by biting the bullet and going on the rollercoaster. I figured if I could do that I could do anything. I passed out half way out. When I came to, I was on the ground surrounded by ambulance personel and my mother (who I'd been on the ride with) was absolutely white. She said she didn't think she could hold me in the car because I was dead weight just flying all over the place. I know never to ask her to help me get over my fear again.

I am terrified of lightning. I am moving to the place where the lightning is the capital~ Central Florida!

Oh your poor mother. What a story. If you weren't afraid to get on a coaster before, I can see why you would be now! I can reassure you how safe they are, but you have to worry about fainting besides!

Heights #1... especially on the top of something like a bridge or tall building.

Its weird because heights in an airplance dont bother me but if Im on something thats touching the ground it freaks me out. I get sick looking at people who work on skyscrapers outside. I keep thinking what if I got stuck out there.. OMG what woud I do???

I'm afriad of drowning..when we were in Hawaii and I attempted to snorkle I didnt know how to use my swim fins and almost caused myself to sink. I was panicked beyond belief. No swimming in the ocean for me... Im also afraid of the waves and being dragged out to sea.

Im also afraid of dying and leaving my kids without a mother.

I am terrified while a plane is taking off and landing but not so much in between.

At night or in my room at night I'm always afraid someone is watching me or hiding in my closet. And when I'm alone I'm sometimes get afraid of someone following me.

SNAKES, and they're keeping me prisoner in my own home! We have soooooo much lush greenery and they love it! ::yes:: We built a terrace 2nd. story level and that's where I go to be outside......NEVER ground level without DH standing close by.

Apparently I have a fear of DENTISTS, too. After having some dental work done a few years ago, the dentist asked that I NOT return to his office EVER again!!!!!! Have to admit, he did look more shaken up when I left than I did! Imagine that! :rolleyes1

Clowns, and Lightning--especially here in Fl.!:earseek: Also, Tornado's and Hurricanes, I sweat from June 1-Nov. 30!:scared:

I'm afraid of tooting in public. Petrified of it! I will walk like a complete idiot over letting one fly. :headache:

Other than that, spiders wig me out but I'm not really afraid of them. :)

I'm more afraid of being in a closed elevator when someone "toots"!:earseek:

MosMom.....Please don't let me catch you walking like a complete idiot at "P COT"!!!!!!! (I love it, ya know???) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Fear of OPEN heights! When my dd was around 4, we take her to the local county fair. My DH says "you take her on the ferriswheel...I'll go get something to eat!". So up I go...cringing all the way....Now image this......everytime I went past the guy in the controls..I yell..."Stop this thing...my daughter is sick!"..another loop and I'm screaming now..."Stop this thing, we have to get off"..another loop...it kept going and going and going....OMG, I really think the control guy got a kick out of this...never been on one since!!!!! And DH was laughing so hard... that I didn't speak to him the rest of the day!
Yeah, real funny!

I can do heights, as long as they are enclosed...like planes!

Heights, but only if I'm standing, or if I'm driving on a high road without any barriers. I love coasters and things that fast fall (ToT, etc). I've never flown though (who knows, they might ask me to fly the plane or something;)).
