My SIL is coming for a visit on Wed. We have been in our new house for a year.....and I am finally going to tackle the last of the "piles".Finished laundry yesterday, and DD made a big breakfast cassorole so we have leftovers for dinner. I will reward myself by watching Amazing Race !

Good morning, DisFriends!

It's warm and beautiful even up here in Michigan! We'll spend this morning going to Mass and then I'll take my 12 year old dd to a full day of Nutcracker ballet rehearsals.

While I'm out I'm going to pick up some pregnancy tests. The ones I have must be broken. They keep coming back negative!

I am currently sitting on my bum watching The Family Man in my PJ's with the windows open. Thinking about jumping in the shower but honestly that's too much effort. Will probably go to the store for some food for dinner since I can't make heads or tails of what I do have. We just moved into the house two weeks ago and I can't seem to get all the basics for the kitchen. I have NO spices, NO basics or anything. It's annoying not to be able to pull stuff together!!

We are also leaving thursday morning! It is a surprise birthday trip for my soon to be 11 year old son. It has been so hard to keep it a secret! I always catch myself about to say something related to this trip. Good thing we have an upcoming xmas trip and I use that as coverup

Guess I will also start packing!

I've got laundry going and going to work on some homework. It is 68 and sunny here today so we've got chicken marinating and we are going to break out the grill and eat dinner on the patio tonight.

Well, so far, I have laid in bed with a migraine until the pharmacy opened and I could get my meds, successfully moved to the couch after an hour, made lunch and now it's time for some football! We are both going to tackle the cleaning after this game, grill some burgers and watch some more football

DD knows we're going to Disney for her birthday, but she knows nothing. She thinks she's staying at CBR, but we're going to AKL. She has no idea of ADRs or that she's going to MVMCP! I said something about the Christmas party last night and she thought I meant one at school. Whew!

Ok, I got most of my lights up outside. I can't put the ones around the garage door and the porch railings up until I get my Garland from the boyscouts closer to Thanksgiving. I wish I would have gone to Target BEFORE I put the lights up-the LED lights have really come down in price. They are only $4/box more then the traditional lights. I will have to try to grab some after Christmas for next year--but still, the glow from the traditional lights is awfully nice.

Believe it or not, I just got out of bed a little while ago.. Woke up feeling lousy and tired this morning, so I just threw in the towel and went back to bed..

Gorgeous day here at the lake though.. I did manage to get my garbage put out.. LOL..
