OK, with this dry dock thing, I know they will be switching room locations around such as Common Grounds, etc. but what else are they doing. Will they be doing major renovations such as replacing carpet, beds, furniture etc. Just wondering what else will be done.

Yes, a lot of what you list is going to be done. They do change out linen, bedding, carpet, etc of the wear and tear variety.

The primary reason it goes in is twofold.

One, to get the hull completely out of the water so they can inspect and recoat it. I am sure you have seen them painting the upper parts of the ship at some point, well, this is where the lower gets done.

Two, inspect and update all safety/emergency equipment as needed.

They also take advantage of this downtime for any renovations, remodeling, etc...

Yep, we were watching them paint the ship while we were waiting to leave for our excursion at St. Thomas last month.

Maybe they realize we'd be looking for the Magic because all day today and even this evening when I go to local6.com port canaveral cam I get a photo of 9/27, which is yesterday--the time on it is 9:34 AM! I didn't see the Wonder at all today!

I would be happy to post one, but I don't know how--I've been reading the Boards for quite a while but just recently registered, so I've only posted a few times. Forum Rules say I can't post attachments, so if someone will tell me if/how to include a picture, I will.
