What Are The Toiletries At Bc??

DH and DS are leaving on Friday and are staying at the BC. Wanted to know what the toiletries were there or whether I needed to back what I have from home.

lets see you get soap, shampoo and shower gel. i can't remember if you get tooth paste, i think not. i would pack your own shampoo and conditioner however... the shampoo left my hair very dry. have a great trip, you'll love the bc!

Do you remember the brand?

I ask because when we were at the Swan in August they had great Bath and Body Works toiletries and it was great. I brought everything from home and didn't need too because the stuff was AWESOME!!!

The Disney resorts use nice H2O toiletries now. The BC uses their Aquatics - it is an ocean blue and very clean and refreshing.

I stayed at the YC in July and they use the same. The GF is the only deluxe that uses a diff H2O scent (very nice, too!). I really like the new H2O products WDW uses. You will get facial soap & bath soap, shower gel, shampoo & separate conditioner & a body lotion. No toothpaste unless you request it - then it's just generic.

Thanks for the info! The products do sound nice so I won't send my guys with anything except toothpaste. Do they give you only one of each product or at least 2 so each of them have something? My guys shower daily.

I think you can buy them in the gift shop downstairs too now.
I liked them.

People so far seem to all like them, but I thought the shampoo wasn't very good. I have thick hair prone to frizzing and tangling if it's not treated nicely, and that Disney shampoo is the pits for me.

Yeah, the H2O is a step above the old black and red Mickey label, but not by much.

Some housekeepers are more stingy with the products than others. You can always call and they will bring tons more. If I ever needed extra - which sometimes I just did - they showed up with a plastic bag FULL of a variety of the products - more than we needed! I came home with extras.

Yes, they do sell the products in the gift shops, but you should be able to get all you need for use during your stay from housekeeping.

GinnyFavers....are you talking about the new H2O shampoo???? It is much much better than the old Disney packaged stuff. I really like the H2O, but hated the crummy old Disney stuff.

It's usually my job to call housekeeping if I need anything. Knowing my guys they will make do with what they have unless it does become a problem. I was just curious how much they provided. This trip it's just DH and DS who are going. DH is a convention there next week for his job.

I bought the shower gel in the mercantile and have been to the H20 shop about 3 times already to replenish my stock.

Also, at Disney its called Aquatics, but at the h20 stores, its the Natural Spring line.

That smell just reminds me of Disney and what a great trip we had. I'm glad we're able to purchase it.
