What are the preferred rooms at POR and CSR?

...that you have to pay the extra $10 a night for? We're still not completely sure which resort we want to stay at and was also wondering if it was worth paying the extra money each night. Thank you all so much!

POR and CSR don't have preferred room locations that they charge for like CBR does

CBR is the only moderate resort that offers preferred rooms.

Thank you, I did not know that . I knew that that they had preferred rooms at CBR, so I had just assumed they had them at all the mods. Good to know!

similar to some of the value resorts, "Preferred Rooms" just means that it is closer to the food court/gift shop/restaurant area. i believe that is what they are referring to.

unlike other resorts, at cbr, the food court area is in a different building from the check in lobby area, on the opposite side of the resort. the other resorts (at least the mods) have the food court/ gift shop/restaurant/lobby/check in area all together or attached in the same building.
