What are the odds?

We will be checking in at the ASMu on 9/10 with 2 rooms. How could be go about making sure that we have adjoining rooms? I'd really like to sleep in the same bed with my hubby, but the kids can't stay a couple of rooms down. Any suggestions?

If you want an internal door between the rooms (meaning, you don't have to go outside to get to the other room), you need to request "connecting" rooms, not "adjoining". To the room assigner, adjoining means next door, or as close as possible. Nearby. That could mean next door, down the hall, or the floor directly above or below.

I agree with Lynne, if you want connecting rooms you better ask for them, because right now it looks like you're asking that your rooms be just near each other and not connecting.

Unfortunately, Disney does not guarantee adjoining/connecting rooms. They will do their best to give them to you, but it is not for sure. Hopefully now that so many kids are back in school Disney will be less busy, and you will be able to get adjoining rooms.

I read somewhere here that if the number of kids is greater than the number of adults, they try really hard to give you connecting rooms.
