What are the odds on a waitlist for an AKV studio on a Sunday in July becoming open?

We're thinking about staying at a DVC on our last night, July 27. What are the odds that a studio at AKV might become available? Thanks for any and all guesses and past experiences!

well go with one you can get now - OKW or SSR probably - then wait list for AKV.

wait list are pretty unpredicatable - but there are cancelations all the time.

There is not many dvc rooms at AKV yet. So I would say very slim chance. I would try though. You might want to avoid the move but have dinner at AK Lodge instead. You then can still see the animals.

FWIW, in May I cancelled a June AKV value studio reservation that I'd made at 11 months in favor of OKW. So it's possible - I think right around 30 days you see people decide to cancel and avoid holding.
