What are the odds of Bldg. 2 at POFQ?

We have added 3 days at POFQ to our honeymoon. My future hubby to be is a smoker; a chimney is more like it !! We did some research and found that Bldg. 2 is the smoking bldg.. What are the odds that we will be put somewhere else? The location of bldg. 2 looks fantastic!!! No parking lot views!!! We requested a smoking room along with our ressie for a king!
He does smoke alot in the room, SORRY!!!!! He is the smoker, not I!!
I have just read so many posts about those NOT wanting a smoking room. I can't imagine WDW putting a smoker in a nonsmoking room!!

My husband is also a smoker. When stayed at POFQ in 04 and 05 ,and both years we were placed in building 2. We almost had the same room. The smoking rooms we stayed in were very close to the river. You are right about Building 2 being a great location. We loved it. Hope this helps. By the way, I didn't request a building only a smoking room.

We just got back on Friday from POFQ and stayed in a smoking room in Bldg. 2. (Room 2118) It did have 2 double beds, though. It was perfect for us. It was a courtyard view and very convenient to everything!! We loved our stay at POFQ!! When we were checking in I had requested Bldg. 2 when I made our ressies but no smoking preference. The CM when we checked in said it is harder to get rid of the smoking rooms, so I would imagine you wouldn't have a problem.

Thanks!!!! What was bldg. 2 like? Does it have an elevator? After looking at the map, it looks like a great location. We are staying 5 nights at the Dolphin prior to POFQ. I am more excited about POFQ!!!

Although we are not smokers we did like the smallness of POFQ. The hot tub is sorta secluded close to the pool and all the buildings make you think you are in NEW ORLEANS with out the mess. Congradulations on your honeymoon maybe we will run into you guys we are going to be there 10-1/10-04 staying at CBR this time. WE are also from KY

Hope you have a wonderful trip!! We are from Louisville. We stayed at CBR last summer and had a wonderful time, I am sure you will love it. We just wanted to try something different this time. The hot tub sounds really nice, will just have to check it out!!!
