What are the numbers? Odds?

My husband keeps telling me we will get our ADRs for 4/20 through 5/2 because of sheer odds.

What are your thoughts:
What % of the rooms are booked 180 days out?
How many are crazy enough to get up in the middle of the night to make reservation (like us)?

I would say that many rooms are already booked because many people start to plan their Disney trips a year in advance, (or longer!) And, just from what I read on these boards, many people also plan out their ADRs in advance! I have always booked my ADRs at the earliest date available, either 90 or 180 days. I would guess that you will have a good chance of getting what you want when you make your ADRs early, but, I am not going to make any attempt to guess on percentages.

If you're able to get to the booking system on 10/27, you'll have no problem getting anything you want. The difficult part that day *may* simply be getting through. (We can only guess how much load the online system is able to handle.)

Even if you get in the next day, I expect you'll be just fine. Remember, there are a *ton* of vacationers who don't even know about the return to 180 days.

The only exception I can think of might be the Chef's Table at Viki & Al's.

I think your chances are pretty darn good.

1. I would say most Disney trip planners don't know about the change to 180 days.
2. I just spoke to a dining reservation CM today and he said all hands will be on deck that day!
