What are the "must-not do's" at WDW? (unDisney like)

Don't expect small children to last the entire day in the summer florida sun! Leave and take a nap and/or swim and return in the evening. Also, don't take the beauty of the grounds in the parks for granted!

Don't EVER make a comment that there is a person inside a costume that make up the characters. They ARE real, even the CMs will make sure you are aware of that!

I was actually in front of some lady in the Judge's tent that kept asking the CM if it was a male or female in the costume! :sad2: Wow, that CM gave it to them! But they wouldn't stop! And there were so many kids around, little ones too.

One time when we were with Mickey Mouse I had a 2 month old, and not to brag, but she was an incredibly beauitful 2 year old- very smily & personable (who knew she'd be a shy 5 yr old!) She just kept smiling at Mickey. I could so tell that Mickey was a mom & I have a feeling she had a baby the age of mine. She seriously wanted to rip off the Mickey head & kiss that baby! For DH & I it was very cute & I went up & whispered in her ear congratulations on her own kids & she nodded at me. For me it was a very special moment of understanding how much the characters love kids & that it is "real." Don't ruin the magic for others.

As far as attractions, I would say don't bother doing:

Stich's Great Escape
El Rio Tempo (unless the new one is open)
Finding Nemo the Musical

GO SEE FINDING NEMO the MUSICAL!!!!!!!!!! It's GREAT! I may be a little prejudiced, because I am a HUUUGE Nemo fan.... but it's so worth it! I loved it!

Cracking up about weeing in line. Did you hear about the college kid who took a wee in a Wii and shocked himself??? True story:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Don't plop yourself in the middle of the row, in theater-style attractions, (It's Tough to Be A Bug, The Little Mermaid, Mickey's Philharmagic, etc) when the CM has asked you nicely to move all the way to the end of the row. If you do anyway, and I step on your toes trying to move around you, don't get huffy with me because I'll huff back.

Don't save spots for friends in line during peak season. It's your fault that you wanted to bring a dozen friends with you and can't get in attraction all at once. It's rude and greedy and let's be honest, you'd be angry too if after waiting in line for half an hour in 90-degree weather, someone in front of you says in a rude voice: move over, my buddies were in line (and six people shove past you!)
I think that doing this twice should be grounds for expulsion from the park during peak season. It isn't my fault that the S.O.B wanted to see TT and didn't use a fast pass.

When you are in a long line at a CS resturant, don't wait until you get to the cashier to look at the menu and decide what you want. Make up your mind while you're waiting in line please!

Also, if you have a large group, don't walk in a line that stretches all the way across the walkway. The walkways are two way streets so there has to be room for people going the opposite direction.

Don't try to cut in line in front of me
Don't beat or scream at your children at the happiest place on Earth in my view

Don't have one person in your party "reserve" a table in a very crowded CS restaurant when you know you're going to be in line for 20 minutes before you need that table. Let the people in front of you sit and eat, then there will be a table for you when it's your turn.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Sorry for your weeing incident! But that was just too funny!! I can't stop laughing!!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I can laugh about it now! But at the time I was totally shocked. I thought I was hallucinating. I asked my husband if he could see what I was seeing. When he looked he put his hand over his face and said "Is that legal?":lmao: The guy right behind us said very loudly "HEY, this isn't Six Flags, it's Disneyworld! You aren't supposed to whizz outside" :rotfl2: (he's right...six flags can be a raunchy place!)

When I found myself having to jump out of the way of Wee River, I decided I'd ride ThunderMountain later...much later. The next day AFTER they'd hosed the place down!

Don't go to universal studios and angrily shake your guidemap at a CM, demanding to know where the tower of terror is!

Don't call Animal Kingdom a zoo. Don't wait until the last minute to find a "great" curbside seat at any parade and sit in front of some little kid.

AK "claims" that they are "not a zoo"....yet they are an accredited member of the "Association of Zoos & Aquariums" or AZA.

I agree with that COMPLETELY! I can't stand it when people do either of those things!

Don't let your meat loaf... when exiting attractions, if you are seperated from your group, move to one side... do not block traffic to wait on your party, or you may be knocked to the ground and trampeled.

If there is a fairly large group crowded around watching a performance of some sort that has no formal line, DO NOT bring yourself or your child to stand in front of someone else and block their view. That drives me absolutely insane, especially when people put their kids on their shoulders and stand right in front of me. Just because you have a small child doesn't mean you should be able to get in the very front when I've been there longer and want to see what's going on just as badly.

Also, do not stand way too close next to/behind someone if they're playing a game or something that you want to do (at Innoventions, DisneyQuest, etc.) Standing closer to me will not make me stop any sooner, and it makes me very uncomfortable to have someone staring over my shoulder like that.

I really cant agree w that, and Im not the only one. Theres a thread about this on one of the forums. Its called **is this rude?** or something like that

I think it is poor planning to walk into a very crowded CS w/ friend or fam, and NOT have one of you try to secure a seat:confused3 I just don't get why you want to stand there w a full tray, food getting cold... But thats your choice, and this board welcomes all opinions. Here's mine~

Don't smoke in an area that isnt designated for it

Don't stop short in the middle of a walkway, and accuse the fam who bumped you with their stroller of plowing

Don't use vulgar language (even though you may all be adults in your group, there are impressionable ears all around you) <<------- this is one I really have to be careful about myself:rolleyes1

Dont shove or nudge your kids to the front of a crowd of guests waiting to greet a character

**these are just my personal no-nos, no offense intended :flower3:

Just thought of another one that I find particularly irritating.

Do not talk loudly on rides. I can understand a few comments here and there, or a conversation in a reasonable speaking voice, but I've encountered people on numerous occasions who find it necessary to yell things out on rides all the way through.
