What are the 'little things' that you do each trip that make it 'magical' ?

One night, catch a movie on the beach at the Beach Club --- and bring some $$ for the s'mores over the camp fire.

Another night, swing on the swing on the beach at the Poly and watch the light show parade come by......it was our favorite thing to do on nights when our girls were smaller and were afraid of the fireworks. I still love it.

One thing we did was take DD2 (1 at the time) to get a haircut at the Harmony Barbershop on Main Street. She got 1st haircut mouse ears and a certificate. DS11 and DD9 thought it was so cool they got haircuts too. DD9's was complete with colored gel and "pixie dust". DS11 was too cool for this option and got a standard cut. The kids want to do it next time we go (hopefully 2012).

One thing we started doing on our first trip was handing out little "thank you's" to cast members who went out of their way to make our trip special.
They are a little card, with a Canada flag pin on one side and the other said "Thank you for making our trip a little more magical!" and then signed our name and where we were from.
We've handed these out to everyone from the custodians cleaning the washrooms and sidewalks to our restaurant servers and ride attendants. And you would have thought we were handing them gold treasure! They were so happy to be recognized and appreciated for their hard work.
It really made our trip more special, to share the magic. And we got to meet some excellent people.
My kids also trade pins, which they love and often look at as souveniers of their trips. It was a great way for them to meet people from all over the world. I buy pins off of EBay for a fraction of the cost and their mission is to collect a set while we're there. It's funny to see them change their minds on what sets they want to collect.

Wonderful ideas on here. We are going back for our 2nd trip with kids and I am looking forward to being more laid back on this trip and having more fun and making more special memories. :goodvibes

I don't know if this has been said. But last year we bought DD a passport book in Epcot. as you do the show case you can get your book stamped and talk with the cm. My DD loved it.
