Just out of curiosity, what do you think are hardest to get or most popular ADR's?

Evan

I have had the hardest time getting le cellier, chef mickeys and cinderellas royal table

Those 3 mentioned, plus 'Ohana at the Poly.

Character meals as a group would be next. Fantasmic Dinner Packages are way up there in the top 5 as well.

And the hardest is probably the Chef's Table at Victoria & Albert's, but that's not that popular in terms of many many people trying to book it, but there's not many reservations taken.

Not all character meals are very hard to get into. I got in to Cape May cafe for breakfast with a few weeks notice. The people in front of me in line were walk ups and only had to wait 20-25 minutes.

Chef Mickey's and CRT make me nervous because we are eating dinner at both of those on our trip, and we are a party of 10.

Is it harder to get breakfast or dinner at Chef Mickey's and CRT? If dinner is easier to get I will be relieved. I will find out soon enough, our ADR date is January 14th!

I think Dinner at CRT would definitely be easier than breakfast & lunch because the princesses aren't there for the meal -- just the Fairy Godmother & the mice.

I think that is changing though. At least rumor has it that starting in Feb, the princesses will be there at dinner as well. I have been trying for almost 2 weeks to book dinner at CRT in June, and have not been able to get anything. I am suspicious that they haven't opened up reservations at all for dinner in June, not sure why not though or if they will at some point.

Oh man, now I'm nervous for making our ADR in July. We will have to think of a back-up plan just in case.

I lucked out with CRT, we are going in less then 3 months and I managed to get a breakfast reservation on our first morning, my daughter will be thrilled.

We were a party of 12 for two meals, Chef Mickey's and Boma. We were only able to get a 9:15PM reservation for Chef Mickey's, but it turned out to be a good thing as part of our party didn't end up getting to WDW until 8:30 and were able to make it. We also had 5:00 Boma reservations. Call early for the big parties and you should be okay.

I did my ADR's this am and got CRT Breakfast at the time I wanted. Boy am I happy.:donald:

I got everything that I wanted and all within 30 minutes of what I wanted. I am so excited now.

I made several ADR's for April and the only one that I was NOT able to get was Garden Grill. Not sure why but I have ADR's for Ohana's, Le Cellier and Chef Mickeys but not Garden Grill. :confused3

I was able to snag an early supper at CRT today and am going in February so it would be great if the princesses are there, otherwise we'll be happy with the Fairy Godmother, we just really want to eat at the castle.

I've found Le Cellier hard to get but we got it for late in the day for our February trip and oddly enough it took a long while to be able to get Donald's Breakfast Safari but recently snagged it as well.

And since I decided I have to try Jiko we're going to upgrade from DDP to DxDP. Hope we have some time left for the parks :)

The uberpopular restaurants are:

Le Cellier for any meal
CRT, especially for breakfast or lunch (after February it appears they will have princesses at all three meals, not just breakfast and lunch)
Chef Mickey's, any meal
'Ohana dinner
California Grill, especially around fireworks time

Chefs Table at Victoria & Albert's is the single most difficult reservation to book, because they have only one seating on the nights it's offered.

Which places give you the most bang for your buck?

also, I was checking on Cinderella's Royal Table for a lunch. Do they really only serve the standard childrens plate that every other place in the kingdom serves? Seems grossly overpriced if that is really the case.

If you are looking to save money, CRT is not a good choice for any meal. At CRT, you are not paying for the food, but for the atmosphere and princesses.

Disney World Resort is a resort, so you should expect the typical overpriced resort/park restaurants. If 'bang' means quanitity then consider the buffets that are eat all you care to eat. Self serve ones are better, since you do not have to depend on service, which varies from day-to-day. If quality is your 'bang', then consider the signature restaurants.

Disney has to find ways to continue to maximize their profits every year while also using various marketing plans providing an array of food offering to entice people that Disney is affordable. Nothing is free and Disney finds subtle ways to cut cost while spinning it as a great thing. Kids institution-corporate meals are healthy..according to Disney and shape what kids can eat when on a dining plan.
