You know the toys that you can hold and when you mash the trigger they spin around and light up. I know the one we used to have had Buzz Lightyear on the top. I wanted to order some before our trip and I cannot find them or remember what they are called? TIA!

And one who likes to be called, "Lloyd."

Not sure if you have one near you, but I got a bunch for my kids at the Disney store pre-trip when they were on sale. I even got some really cute light up fans...Toy Story, Peter Pan, Pirates etc...The ones in the parks are crazy money! (maybe like $12.00 each:confused3 ) I paid less than $5.00 for each.

1.Headaches with lights and spinney things.
2.Battery eaters
3.The reason I need a drink after DS is in bed at WDW

My answer is
C: all of the above

Plus one, I have always called them light chasers.

Lol about previous respones, I don't think they have a true name.

If your trying to find some pre-trip light up toys cheap there are lots of choices.

If they must be Disney then hit the Disney Store - lots of choices often on clearance.

If not you can often find something just like them at the dollar store, target and wallmart. We always hit the dollar store and get some of the glowsitck bracelets and necklaces that you snap and they light up. They are usually 5 or 10 sticks for a dollar and we always share with neighbors waiting for a parade or fireworks.

We have recently found glowstick lolly pops, necklace lolly pops and ring pops that were very cool and pretty inexpensive at target, our local supermarket and the wallgreens. They double as a light up toy and a fun snack while waiting for nighttime entertainment.

Good luck finding your spinny toy.

I call them Marty (as in Spin & Marty)...just an example of my odd sense of humor.

According to my receipt from DLR, "light chaser" is the name. At least for our Stitch-in-space-vehicle version. Can't find my receipts for our Sept trip which would have the blue Mickey ear version's name.

the "technical term" for them in the toy industry is "Light Chasers"

I did some work with the company that manufactured them for the Disney Stores.

LOL, we call them Disney World Flashlights. When th lights go out for spectromagic, all you see are these spinning flashes of colored lights.

They're called the annoying things that spin right in your face so you can't see or concentrate on anything during Spectro, Fantasmic, Wishes and Illuminations
