What are the "dress up" nights on 4-night cruise?

It's a Merrytime cruise out of Galveston in November 2020 - I assume one pirate night and maybe Christmas pajamas? Any other costumes the kids might want to bring along? (8 yo girl and 6 yo boy)

On a 4-night, there will be Pirate Night and a dress-up optional - dress-up in this case meaning fancier than cruise casual. I have never heard of Disney encouraging the wearing of pajamas at dinner. (And honestly hope I never do.)

I totally did not mean my grandkids would wear pajamas to dinner so sorry if I offended with my unclear wording.

A friend on a Merrytime cruise mentioned her kids wore Christmas pajamas to meet Santa one morning on the cruise for a cute pic. I am making a list of “other” types of clothes we need for the cruise so that’s how I ended up with Christmas pajamas on the list.

We like wearing matching Disney Hawaiian shirts (dress for me in the same fabric as the boys' shirts) as a family on embarkation day. Not really necessary but a fun way to say "woohoo, our family is on vacation!!!"

If they are still into costumes they may want to dress up for the Princess Gathering and Frozen meet and greet.
