"What are the dates again?" A June PTR w/ pics!!

Does anyone know why Japan and China do not have penny machines in their countries, but are elsewhere in the World Showcase?

For REAL! Two trips ago, I went all over China looking for one. I had seen the one in Mexico and was excited to get a Mickey or Minnie with something China-related since I'm Chinese and all. But it was a lost cause.

When I returned and finally joined DIS, I found out that you can get the complete list of the flattened penny/quarter machines at Guest Relations. This list includes all the parks and the resorts. Make sure you get one if you haven't already! It's awesome to know where to go for the ones you want! I mean, it was always nice to run up to the machines and be surprised to see what was there, but at the same time, if we had gotten the list earlier, my mom would have known that the Eeyore machine at MK was in the store she was in for a good hour!

Can't wait to hear more of your trip! Breathe in all that magic so you can share it with us!

Hi everyone! We're still in WDW! It's been really rainy while we've been here, but we're making the best of it. It hasn't hampered us too much. We've seen a lot of characters (And the bag with the signatures is coming out great!) and ridden a bunch. DBF and I are taking it easy today. We're going to head to DTD soon and back over to Animal Kingdom and Epcot for some pictures.

Hi, we got back yesterday. Looks like you are having a great time! Love the shirts.

We got stuck in that huge storm Thursday night and then were delayed at the airport due to the storm Friday afternoon.

As for the pressed penny machines not being in Japan and China, if you are looking for pennies from those countries, I seem to remember seeing on my checklist that they have them in those giftshops right at the entrance to World Showcase (I can't think of the name right now! )

I did find the pennies after I asked them and trekked all the way back around the showcase! I just wonder why they aren't IN the countries like all the others?

I knew about the list, but forgot about it while we were there. It would have been nice to find a Hollywood Studios penny. Oh well, maybe next time!

If you decide to make them, use Elmers Glue instead of the flour mixture. Much easier!

I am planning on starting my trip report soon, but I need to get my pictures organized first.

This is no easy task as I took 1,524 pictures this trip. That doesn't include the movies and the 172 Photopass pictures that I just finished turning into 378 Photopass pictures. (Does anyone know how long it takes to get the CD after you order it? I'd love to include those pictures in my TR, too!)

Many of them are probably repeats and blurry, so I need to narrow them down, delete the bad ones and then upload them all before I get started.

I figure if I take the time to do it now, hopefully my time between updates will be shorter and I'll feel better because I will be organized! (And if I don't get them done in the next 25 days, I will be in way over my head with pictures after the cruise!)

I was hoping to get them done by this weekend and start the TR early next week, but DSis just informed me I have to go to her scheduling session with her for college tomorrow and then help get stuff set up for her grad party on Sunday. Not to mention, i have to book some excursions for our cruise and book a hotel still, since I was putting them off until after our trip to Disney.

I just wanted to let you all know that a TR is coming soon, but I have to get organized first!

Sorting photos does take forever. I always end up going though them at least 5 times and deleting a few more each time. I went through them twice today so tomorrow (as long as DSis's session doesn't take forever!) i will start going through them and get them organized to be uploaded.

I ordered the CD today, so it should be here when I'm ready to start my TR! Thanks for the info.!

Here I am sitting in the computer lab with DSis killing time before her appointment. I wish I would have brought my laptop so I could work on my pictures. That way I could get my TR started soon.

I need to come up with a title. That is my goal while I am sitting here wasting time. I've been thinking and can't come up with anything I like. I never knew it could be so hard!
