My DH and I actually went on our first Disney trip in November of 1995 (wow, was it that long ago?) Anyway, were there the week before Thanksgiving. It was not very crowded, but things could be different these days.

Did anyone go to Disney last November? We are looking at the dates of 11/11 through 11/19. The Food and Wine Festival ends on 11/13, so hopefully the crowds at EPCOT will thin out after that.

Being from New Jersey, I'm also concerned about the month of November and teacher conventions. Hopefully it won't have much of an impact.

Any feedback would be wonderful! :)

Week before Thanksgiving is our favorite time to go. It is still as you remembered, low crowds, and great weather. This year you will be fine going at that time. The F&W fesival is coming to an end when you get there, Super Soaps weekend is too. Also the crowds from "Jersey week " and Vet's day should be thinning out at that point. So, I would say it might be alittle crowded during the weekend, after that you should be fine.

From what I've heard, "Jersey week" would be the week of the 7th-11th. Vet's day is also the 11th and the NJ teachers convention is on the 10th and 11th. S&S weekend is the 12th&13th with that being the last weekend of F&W festival.

Hope that helps!
We'll be there from the 12th-20th. :earsgirl:

We've visited WDW the past few "Jersey Weeks" :). The crowds were fine and the weather was great! We love F&W Fest....it's great fun and adds something extra to Epcot! Last year Jersey week coincided with Super Soap weekend (it will again this year) and Halloween. We thought crowds would be much higher than they were. The only time it really felt crowded to us was at MNSSHP at MK on Halloween night. But that was to be expected...and it was still a blast!

I wouldn't hesitate to head down to WDW that week. Enjoy :flower: .

november is one of our favorite times to visit, the first 2 weeks is normally the epcot food & wine festival, which we enjoy & the end of november brings the christmas decor & events at the resorts & parks. we've always had good weather, light crowds with the exception of veterans/thanksgiving holiday, regular&value rates at the hotels.

we'll also be vacationing november 12-19th.
