Just wanted to see if anyone could tell me what the crowds are like the first two weeks of February. We are planning a trip in Feb. 2007.

We love to go to WDW in Feb (that's when we honeymooned there). There are minimal crowds, so virtually no wait on the rides. It's one of the best times to go :thumbsup2

The only thing when going during the cooler months is that it can get a bit chilly in the early morning and then in the evening when the sun goes down.

The year we honeymooned, 1996, they had unseasonably cold temps and it was 20 degrees first day we arrived and slowly warmed each day. We knew to take a few warmer items, but many folks didn't and they were suffering in their shorts :confused3 The cooler weather didn't bother us much since it was below 6 at our home in PA. But as I said that's not the norm for that time of year, just gave us a quirky story to tell.

Enjoy - you'll have a blast!

The crowds for my Feb 4-11th trip this year were really good....
tended to be larger crowds on the weekends.. weekend of the 4th and 5th there was a dance competition.. and the weekend of the 11th and 12th there was a cheerleading competition.. the parks seemed to be busiest thurs, fri and sat.... but still even then it was minimal waits on everything..
I definately will go back at this time again!

Feb. is the month for us. We've been in Janurary and found it too chilly, March is too hot, and Feb. is just right. The weather is good and you can still wear shorts but cool at night that you might need a sweatshirt. The characters are out alot because it's cool and they stay out longer too. The crowds are light unless you go the week of MLK. The crowds of the cheerleaders never effected us at POR, they might at the all-stars. The only time it was really crazy was one night at MK but they were nice and not really out there. The pools at the resorts are heated to so you can still swim.

a lot of schools are out president's week (which i believe is the third week) and due to the high volume of children at the airport THIS year that week wearing mickey mouse hats (i work at an airport) i believe it picks up for a week or so. I DO know that room rates take a hike, so i'm assuming it must be slightly busier.
