What are the character meal options--not breakfast?

I guess the first part of my question is what are the character meal options--then which of them are available for meals other than breakfast.

Are the breakfast ones so popular because they are less $$ or is there another reason I'm missing.

thanks!

allearsnet.com has a list of all the restaurants with menus and there is also a section where you can find the characters. She also tells you which ones are breakfast only and breakfast/lunch/dinner with menus and prices. I, personally, don't care if it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner when I book a character meal. It all just depends on where we are going to be that day and what looks good on the menu. Price does not matter to me, however, as my DH is concerned, he would recommend breakfast character meals over dinner because of price, but he doesn't complain that much because he goes just to see the looks on our DDs faces when their favorite characters come out for hugs and autographs.

Epcot - Land - Garden Grill - lunch and dinner

Epcot - Norway -Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - all meals

MK - Castle - Cindy's - breakfast & lunch
MK - Liberty Square - Liberty Inn - Dinner

the other places I like are the WDW resort - but they generally only have characters for breakfast

exceptions

CR - Chef Mickeys breakfast & dinner

GF - 1900 Park ave - breakfast & dinner

 I'm a complete newbie, so take it for what it's worth.

But I imagine that the breakfasts are popular simply because of timing: You can have breakfast, then the rest of your day is yours. You don't have to stop what you're doing to make a reservation.

Plus, from what I've heard, the Princess meal at Akerhaus (in Epcot) is traditional "American" food for breakfast, and more ethnic foods for lunch and dinner. So I'm booking that one for breakfast. My 7 year old is so picky that it's a struggle to get her to eat even familiar foods.. I can't imagine asking her to eat some of the foods she's never seen before:eek:

The Crystal Palace in the MK has a great buffet with Pooh and friends for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast. We did the dinner buffet in June and were pleasantly surprised with the food offerings. IMO you can't go wrong if Tigger's there!:tigger:

Crystal palace for dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner and CRT for lunch. (Kids are small so we are at MK a lot.) All more than one time and all enjoyable.

Another reason people like breakfast is that you can enter the parks prior to opening if you have an ADR. You can't ride anything but it's a tranquil setting without thousands of people around.

My favorite non-breakfast meals that I have done are:
CP dinner
LTT dinner
GG lunch

The other benefit to some of the character meals is that you get into the park early, and then when you're done breakfast, there you are! We've walked out from CRT at breakfast to a practically-deserted Fantasyland and the kids were able to go on several rides with almost no line-up.
