Do we really think ME will be leaving? I for one cannot believe that this man let pixar go away after it made disney the money it did. What will he do next to increase his pay and reduce my income from the stock.

While I agree that it is time for ME to go it is such an unfair characterization to say that Eisner 'let Pixar go' when it appears that Jobs was the instigating force with his unreasonable demands. Jobs knew it would be the embattled Eisner that would take the heat and he knew that relatively few would look into the nuts and bolts of the offer, but it seems evident that Disney really had no chance in this negotiation. To give everything to Pixar, including the agreement on the next two pictures would really be 'betting the farm'. It also had to assume that (1) Disney could (actually) make money from the agreement Pixar was offering and (2) that Pixar will continue to be the giant they've been and to that I ask does anyone stay on top forever?

Further, there are reports that all is not well inside the Pixar house as well to which I'm sure Disney was aware.

Certainly, it would have been preferable to have a profitable agreement worked out between the two and if Roy can pull a rabbit out of his hat and remove ME in the near future perhaps this deal can be salvaged.

As for the stock, it is true that it is still down from the highs but it was up 40% last year, was it not? Can more than 40% realistically be expected for one year?

No especially since analysts and investors like what he is doing according to an article in todays Sentinel.
