What are the chances

I am planning a big family trip to Disney in Oct. We have planned to stay at SSR but recently my sister and I thought it would be fun for our 2 families to stay in a GV so we decided to see if there was any chance we could get one at OKW. Well it ends up that all but one day we can get (2 days into our trip). If I waitlist that one night. Do you think my chances are good that it'll come through? I'd hate to have to change rooms mid vacation with all the kids (there will be 4 adults and 6 kids under the age of 8 in the GV). The others in our party will get 2 studios and those are no problem getting. We just thought a GV would be fun but I've never booked one before so I'm worried that ym chace of waitlist coming through might be very small.

Any thoughts?

If the day you are waiting for is a Wednesday, it might be tough, but a Thursday or Friday might actually come through easiest.

It's actually a Sunday that is unavailable.

Just curious, why is this the case? I am waitlisted for a Thursday in Dec, Dec 6 to be exact, why would a Thurs Fri come thru easier?????
