What are the chances... direct less than $100/point

Thought I would throw this out there... what do you think the chances are of DVC offering points direct @ $99 or less? I know a few months ago OKW and SSR were being offered at $90/point. I could kick myself that I didn't purchase more back then! I wish they would have a one-day-sale type of opportunity. I would be all over it!!! HELLO DVC ARE YOU LISTENING???!!!

I think you can still purchase OKW for $90. VB and HH may be even lower direct thru Disney. Of course, resale purchases can be found at even lower pricing.

There is a thread going on a Doorway to Dreams sale. It's current discounts plus an additional 10% off. I think tomorrow is the last day its available. I think it comes out to under $92 per point for 100 points or more.

Tomorrow is the last scheduled day of the Doorway to Dreams sale. I have been told by them that the price for AKV, Aulani and SSR is $120 then minus the 10% extra sale incentive.

Were you given this price of under $92 from Doorway to Dreams?

Right now doorway to dreams and Aulani DVC is offering the standard $12 discount for 160+ points and $18 for 250+ points. Plus 10% off ending 12-18-10

$120-$12=$108 for contracts less than 160 points
$120-$12=$108 minus 10% off so $108-$10.80=$97.20 for 160+ points
$120-$18=$102 minus 10% off so $102-$10.20=$91.80 for 250+ points

I believe this is the cheapest Aulani has been if you buy a 250+ point contract. Also DVC members buying at least 160 points gets a founders tile. There where tiles available last week sunday but have not checked since.

That still doesn't help anyone who is far from a sales center. I wish they would offer this price through the guides for the holidays. Not fair

I was at an open house at BLT Friday and AKL was offered at $100 for I think 100-250 points but cheaper with a lot of points. Hawaii and BLT were about $110 up to a certain point amount and then their per point cost dropped also.
This was for members who signed up at Welcome Home Wednesday to add on.
I was very surprised how low pressure it was.

I would consider the resale option. Pretty much all contracts well under $100 per point.
