What are some of the best restaurants at WDW? also, what are some Romantic restaurants that also have good food? we have a ressie at California Grill, Le Cellier, O'hana's, Whispering Canyon Cafe, we need 3 more! we will be celebrating our 25th Annv in Feb at WDW! and not V&A, it's just too expensive!! we are on the dining plan. thanks in advance!:)

Since V&A is too expensive I have also heard that Citricos is supposed to be romantic. However, the one restaurant that they always show off as the epitome of romance is V&A. Many people get proposed to in the private room. Speaking of proposals I saw one during the spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian which has excellent food and obviously has some romantic appeal since the gentleman proposed to his girlfriend with the mic & help of performers in front of all of us.

I always here great things about the Hollywood Brown Derby in HS and it seems like it's pretty romantic since it has that old Hollywood feel to it.

Although I've never eaten at The Coral Reef Restaurant it was a featured date spot in the WDW vacation episodes of sitcoms i.e. Full House and Boy Meets World. It's pictures and TV make it look romantic.

Although it's far from romantic, The 50s Prime Time Cafe in HS has terrific comfort food. Old fashion/classic/Suzie homemaker home made type food like meatloaf and mash potatoes, fried chicken, etc. The place is fully themed to be the Leave it to Beaver type 1950s. The milkshakes are super thick and very yummy! The servers are also named as family members so you'll have cousin [insert server's name here] waiting on you. "Mom" also comes around to tell you to finish your vegetables so it's funny if you've finished yours before she gets to you.

You have some great choices already, but here are a few other favorites:

Artist Point
Narcoosee
Citricos
Hollywood Brown Derby
Bistro de Paris

Congrats on the 25th and here's to many more happy years together!

Narcosees at the Grand Floridian and make sure they know you are celebrating your 25th anniversary, they will treat you right. Reserve it about an hour prior to the nightly fireworks at MK. It is one of the best spots to view the fireworks plus they pipe in the sound track from the show. The food and service are outstanding. We were there in October to celebrate my birthday and will be going again the end of January to celebrate my wife's birthday. Have a Happy Anniversary.

thank you both so much for your suggestions! and for the anniversary wishes!

what about Jiko or Boma? i was just reading reviews from those two restaurants. too many choices for me! LOL

thank you friends with mickey! is Narcoossee's better than California Grill? and is the fireworks view better also? thanks!

Personally, I prefer Jiko or Sanaa for a romantic spot. But I love the animal views at Sanaa. Brown Derby also is great.

I discovered Sanaa for the first time this year - fabulous food and wonderful views.

citricos, jiko, and bistro de paris are great as well as having a romantic feel. flying fish is a great meal with a fantastic wait staff & food but it's less romantic than the above but you have the added bonus of a romantic stroll along the boardwalk afterward or a little fun/dancing at jelly rolls or the atlantic dance hall.

thanks guys! what about narcoossee's? do any of you know if it's better than California Grill and is CG worth our time? i've read some bad reviews! and the restaurant doesn't have to be romantic, b/c a couple we are going to will be, so all don't have to be. fun, excitement, entertainment would be good as well!! thanks!:thumbsup2

My husband and I spent our 25th at WDW two years ago and had our anniversary dinner at CA Grill. like you are planning and it was wonderful. For dessert they brought a chocolate cake with a huge slab of white chocolate over it and they had written Happy 25th Anniversary with our names. It didn't cost us anything. I believe we have eaten at every fine dining place in Disney World, Victoria and Alberts, Artist Point, Blue Zoo at (either the Dolphin or Swan, can't remember) and many, many more but for romance, Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's the lighting and the food. It is very romantic, great ambiance, can't say enough about it. Todd English's Blue Zoo was fabulous too. You will get special 25th anniversary pins if you let it be known in advance that you are celebrating. Congrats and have fun.

We have always enjoyed fantastic meals at Citricos, and we concur with the choices offered above. To these we would add Flying Fish on the Boardwalk.

For romantic, I prefer to think homey, comfy and rustic. For those reasons, and the fact that the food is incredible, I'd recommend Tutto Italia and Boatwright's at the POR.

Narcoossee's is a romantic place, especially with the "frontal" view of the MK fireworks. Food is better at California Grill (especially if you like meat and a bit of Asian fusion).

Our family had some issues with Jiko back in August, and unlikely to return. Food at Flying Fish is excellent and a stroll around the boardwalk before or after dinner is very romantic as well.

Artist Point is also a romantic place to dine, but the food is alright. I didn't really care for the food at Citricos.

My must visit list on every trip:

1. California Grill
2. Flying Fish
3. Teppan Edo* (not the best teppan yaki, but a must if on deluxe dining plan)

If have additional time:

4. Narcoossee's
5. 50's Prime Time
6. Kouzzina by Cat Cora
7. Coral Reef (food is so so, but a neat experience, especially with dining plan).
8. Sci-Fi Dine-in (neat experience, but food is underwhelming)

(I did not list Le Cellier in Epcot, since reservation is hard to come by)

I am a picky eater and I *LOVED* my meal at Narcoossee's. Also loved the food at Citrico's

Narcoossee's is a must! Also, Citricos :thumbsup2 Both have the ambiance you seem to be looking for, and great food offerings.

Another vote for Narcosee's. We had an anniversary dinner there and the food & service were both outstanding.
