for being close to the main pool, bus stop, food court, and PETALS!!!!!

We are looking for a ground level looking into court yard. Can anyone be of some assistance? My family would be very appreciative.

We are going in Sept!!! :earboy2:

The 60s bldgs are the "preferred" bldgs - and cost $10/night more. As you walk out of the main building, Petals is off to the right, and of course, there's the pool. The 60s Bldgs are around the main pool.

The 50s & 70s bldgs are also very close to the main building. In fact, last summer we stayed in the 60s bldg, our room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking the kiddy pool. It was a great location, and it was very quiet. We never heard our neighbors, or any noise from the pool. In Dec and again last month, we stayed in the 50s bldg - for Dec we were in Tramp's bldg, and June we were in Lady's bldg. Both were excellent locations - very quiet, and a short walk to the food court/bus stop area. It has its own pool there, but it is a short walk to the main pool. We were able to see fireworks from our room in the Tramp bldg!!

We love Pop Century!!! It really is cute, and I don't think you could go wrong with any of the rooms in the 60s (preferred), or the 50s (Lady & The Tramp).

Have a great trip!!!!

Magic provided great advice. I would just like to add that you DO NOT want to get a room in the 90's!! You will be far from everything. It's a neat are to visit though - lol! :flower:

We stayed in the 70's building in May. It was close to the busses, food courts, etc. We were on the end closest to the food courts, if you are on the other end of the 70's building it would be a longer walk but still not too far.

We stayed in a ground room floor in the 70's building with the big wheel, and it was a fantastic location. We were in room 0157, and our room faced the parking lot, but there was a lovely courtyard between us and the parking lot. It was about a 30 second walk to the Goofy pop jet, maybe a minute or two to the food court and the main pool, and two minutes to the bus stop (we found it was quicker to cut through the parking lot).

We have stayed in both the 50's area and the 70's area. They are fairly close to everything. We didn't find the walk too long but if you want really close, the 60's building is the one you want. I think the 90's area was the farthest away from everything.

So here's a question.....

If you are two young adults (as in DFi and me :)) and don't mind walking to places, bus stops, food etc too much (I understand that those with young children would prefer to avoid long walks on late nights!) Where would you suggest is a nice building in Pop to try and request?

We don't mind the walks, we are children of the 80s I guess :) and we are just looking for a bit of peace and quiet now and then (obviously I know it'll be busy and we don't mind kids lol)? So.... nicest buildings for all of that if you really don't mind a bit of a walk is.....?

Bumping for my question ;)

50's is the best. You can stand on the 50's top level and toss a coin and hit the top of Classic Hall (not that I've tried...).

Can I ask why you are chosing ground floor? In my experience, especially at a value, the upper floors are MUCH quieter just for the sake of less people walking past. I love the 3rd or 4th floor - plus they have elevators. ;)
