My boss is going to the World next month, I am going to ask her if she will pick up some pins for me, since they are small and easy for her to pack back up. (If I could get her to take an extra suitcase for my stuff alone, I would!) What pins should I have her get? I have only picked up a few here and there, so I am not as educated on the Pins as you all are! Any good ideas? Thanks for the help! By the way, I told my DH about my dirty little secret of the pin collecting last night, of course, he thinks I am brainwashed about Disney in general, and nuts! He would rather buy sport stuff! :jester:

The Pin of the Month for October I have heard rumored, is Donald. The September pin may still be available as wellw hich was Mickey. There is a Ft Wilderness/ Chip and Dale backyard BBQ with Chip and Chip. That still seems to be in abundance along with the Ludwig Von Drake pin. It is sticking around a little longer than usual as it is priced at a hefty $15.00. Ask her to look for the SOT (Sage of Time) pin. It is an LE but a lot of people don't recognize it or know what it is from. (The TON -Tapestry of Nations) parade

There's a good start for ya anyway. Remeber, one to keep for your collection and one to trade when you come down.

I did this with my neighbor. If you have a favorite character or theme (like princess, pooh, villians, etc) explain that to her. I also told my neighbor to pick up any LE that she finds that is 3500 or less. I knew that would be a good trader if I didn't like it. You might want to suggest that she ask the CM when she is in a store if there are any LE at the moment. That will take the pressure off of her to figure out what's what.

Good Luck,

Chris

What I do when people pick up pins for me...

I created a personal PIN GROUP on pinpics, of the pins that I knew came out since my last trip that I wanted, and then print of the page. You can use the news archives on Dizpins to figure out which are the newer styles. That way the non-pin person has a picture of what they are supposed to look for, and decreases the likelihood that they will buy something you already have or aren't interested in. Then you can say, "and whatever LE pins that might come out," and a CM should be able to help identify those pins.
