this may have been posted already, but at the Saratoga Springs DVcer meeting last week, they announced that DVCers will be able to participate in the 'free' dining plan begining next year--in the spring--no details were discussed-

As wonderful as the percs are (can't wait to discover how wonderful in a few days ); there is no "free" lunch or dinner, i.e. but we can purchase the dining plan @ the same rate it costs everyone else @ WDW resorts, beginning in April.

Sorry, discounts are supposed to be only when you're staying on DVC points. There are times when a CM will only ask for your membership card and not your room card, but you can't (and shouldn't) count on it.

Actually only a few of the perks are stay specific. Most are not but that could change tomorrow. The ones I recall are the cash room discount, defunct LOS pass discount and the Golf discounts are about it. The PH and free movies (do they even do that anymore) are also stay specific. Maybe I missed something. The info on free Valet parking is mixed but overall it appears to be independent of resort or even WDW stay.
