ETA: Even though I'm not changing my basic request of this thread - you'll see that below this remark - I've changed the title to this thread to add in ALL of the wonderful chocolate treats (desserts, snacks and/or drinks) that you have had while from a CS or TS restaurant at WDW, not just from the ones that I will be going to soon.

Make sure to state the treat, restaurant and theme park/resort where you found the goodie. And please feel free to share any photos you may have, too. CHOCOHOLICS, UNITE! :rotfl2:

We want to hear from you!
:wave2:

Hi!

I've just been reading too many threads lately with people complaining about everything under the sun, that I feel it's time for something that'll make anyone smile - a discussion about CHOCOLATE, my favorite food.

Now, below I have listed all the TS restaurants that we will be eating at during our stay, and some of the CS places that we would like to try. I'm a card-carrying chocoholic and would love your opinions on the best chocolate desserts (or drinks - alcholohic or not) I can find. And if they don't have any chocolate desserts - shame on them!

Let's get down to business!

TS:
Chef Mickey's (dinner)
Boma (dinner)
50's Prime Time Diner (lunch)
Kona (dinner)
Le Cellier (dinner)
Akershus (lunch)
Chefs de France

CS:
Typhoon Tillies (Typhoon Lagoon)
Columbia Harbor House
Cosmic Rays
Sunshine Seasons
Riverside Mill Foodcourt (POR)
Anything at Epcot WS that I can nab when we get there.

My tastebuds thank you in advance!

I will post the ones I know about
TS:
Chef Mickey's (dinner) - wonderful oreo's covered in chocolate with chocolate ears on them
Boma (dinner)
50's Prime Time Diner (lunch) - had their hot fudge sundae -
Kona (dinner) - volcano cake (i think that's what its called) - chocolate cake with melted chocolate inside - best dessert anywhere
Le Cellier (dinner)
Akershus (lunch)
Chefs de France

CS:
Typhoon Tillies (Typhoon Lagoon)
Columbia Harbor House
Cosmic Rays - their brownies were pretty good
Sunshine Seasons
Riverside Mill Foodcourt (POR)
Anything at Epcot WS that I can nab when we get there

That's all I know of

hows LeCelliers choc whiskey cake? Im looking for a slice of cake (or 2 or 3) that I can sink a birthday candle into

50s Prime TIme has a killer smores, love that!

The sundae at Prime Time is delicious.
Not on your list but the Chocolate Wave at Coral Reef is terrific!

At Kona, the Kileau torte is to die for!!! Molten chocolate inside, oh yum!!!

LeCellier - the Chocolate Whiskey cake is also Wonderful!! Comes with a delicious cream sauce that really makes it special!! -newholiday, I'd love this for a birthday cake (slice) Oh, and from a fellow chocoholic - try the chocolate raspberry shake, it is is sooooo good! We were on the DDP and they let me have it for my drink. That was a real healthy meal, LOL!

As for the QS, we only ate at Cosmic Ray's of those, and I'm pretty sure we all had the chocolate cake and it was pretty good. These desserts come prepackaged in a cup. It wasn't bad at all and a very decent size!

Thanks, everyone, for you comments so far. I've been craving some good chocolate lately...

I've been hearing so much about the chocolate wave - do you think that they would sell it a la carte? We're not going to the Coral Reef this trip and it does sound heavenly!

Another vote here for the smores @ 50's Prime Time. I don't care what I am having for my meal, just know I am having smores for dessert or maybe I'll just have smores for my meal!!!:lmao:

I'm going to be eating at Chefs de France next week, so as a fellow chocoholic I'll do my best to find this thread again and let you know how the desserts are there! I can say that the bakery in France has a killer chocolate mouse and lots of other yummy treats, so stop there for a snack!! I've also heard wonderful things about the bakery in Norway, though I can't remember the last time I was hungry by the time we got to Norway - we always either stop and eat in Mexico or we start in the UK and have already had way too many snacks by Norway!! :rotfl:
I used to like the desserts in the coffee shop/bakery next to the main fountain behind SE, but the last 2 times I visited it was closed:confused3

Riverside Mill's Chocolate Cake...yummy!

Le Cellier's Chocolate "Moose"

The chocolate moose at Le Cellier looks too cute to eat, but I have an idea I won't have a problem eating it. Neither would my kids.

The choco cake from Riverside Mill looks yummy, too. It's the first time I've seen a pic of that. Maybe that will be a good way to start our trip since we'll be having lunch there after we arrive. Such glorious things to look forward to! :)

We were just at POR in June so if you want to know anything else about Riverside Mill, just ask.

You have got to try the Asian Chocolate Cake at Sunshine Seasons. For that matter, try anything there! They have a great selection of desserts. (I don't really think it's "Asian" but it's awesome nonetheless.)

I know it's not on your list but if you are a chocoholic, you would appreciate the chocolate course at the Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's. All single bean chocolates! Amazing.

I'll put that on my list. It's not on AllEars menu, but I made a note of it.

I think that I'll have dreams of this tonight. Maybe when we're old and independently wealthy we can try this. [sigh] And drool...

The chocolate cake is now on my list. AllEars doesn't have it listed on it's menu, but I guess it's either at the bakery or wherever the desserts are?

Also, the yogurt parfaits - are they considered an entree or a snack since they are under $4.00? Thanks!

Chocolate Fondue at WGP (the only good thing there:lmao: )

I think I read it is off the menu now but I am not sure. Boy was it ever good.

OK, are you sitting down? How about this... either before, during or after your Prime Time Cafe entree.. as your beverage, you can order a pb and j shake-- made with chocolate ice cream... (they have regular malteds too)

theoretically, double desserts-- double your pleasure, double your fun:lmao:

Gotta love that pb&j shake-- I mean, where else can you get one of THOSE???:thumbsup2

Yes, it is in the bakery counter at Riverside Mill. Also available there are brownies (a bit dry), cookies, cheesecake, and some other things but I always stuck with the chocolate cake. This was available as dessert on the DDP counter service!
