doing now (Im asking this for a freind  )

Janette's niece was a Barney kid. She was Min. I think the last time this subject came up she said Min is in college and doing theatre. I always liked Min, she was the only one of those kids who could act.

That kid Michael is no doubt annoying the heck out of someone because he spent a good several years annoying me! Ugh, that kid was the most cloyingly annoying kid actor EVER (and he has some tough competition). :scared:

:rotfl: I thought he meant...oh nevermind. I'm having a blonde day.:rotfl:

Michael was an annoying little thing.

Now you have to tell me what you thought he meant? :rotfl: Didn't you say something about boyfriends and a driver's license? I'm not sure if Michael has a boyfriend or not, but if he has a driver's license just keep me off the road.

I thought he meant the kids that grew up watching Barney. :rotfl: :confused3 Don't know where I got that from.

We had the original Barney video tapes, with Sandy Duncan! :happytv: You're right, Min was good, and not at all annoying. I'm glad to hear she's doing well now :)

The boy who played Michael, and his sister (he had a sister in the early video tapes), were both relatively annoying. lol Those first few videos were extremely low-budget; my DH and I would watch along with the kids and wonder if they just chose the children of people they knew, so they wouldn't have to pay real actors. lol (Ok I feel bad for saying *any* child is annoying, but within the context of childhood actors, they weren't very good. lol)

Well that would have been the more normal question, but since it was Pop Daddy and I understand his line of thinking I knew what he was talking about. :rotfl:

(love ya PD, and don't see near enough of you around these parts!)

Oh yeah, I remember the sister. She had a starring role in our Barney Waiting For Christmas movie, that got watched about 5,692 times. :scared: :crazy2: There was another kid in that one named Derek who was in very close competition with those two for the worst of the bunch. Good Lord I shudder just thinking of those years. :scared1: I love terrorizing my boys about their long ago love affair with Barney and Friends. They try to deny it, but I still have the worn out tapes to prove it. :p

Brian Eppes was Michael, one of the orginal characters from Barney & Friends, from the age of 8 until he was 13. After Barney, he decided not to continue with acting. He grew up in Texas and graduated summa cum laude from Arlington High School. Brian played baseball and football in school and was active in the student council. During the summer breaks, he worked for his father's company, Southwest Networks, as a lead technician installing fiber optic and data cable systems. Brian also worked for the Texas rangers Baseball team. He is now attending college and majoring in meteorology. He is an advanced scuba Diver, who also enjoys snow skiiing, fishing, hunting, watching sports on TV, and playing his guitar.

Here's a list of the rest of the cast, with links to bios:

I thought Michael and the other older (Lisa?) were way to old
to be singing those nursery rhmes and learning the ABC's. :rotfl:

There was a little red haired kid- Shawn (I think) that was a extremely annoying to me also. Although they all were.

My 15 DD used to watch it over and over again.

Wow. Glad to hear Brian was more succesful in his other endeavors because acting certainly was not his forte! :scared:

Oh yeah, we must have the same tape. I remember Shawn. For whatever reason I didn't hate him as much. :rotfl: But I agree, Michael and that girl (wasn't it Tina? She had a sister too, both had long dark hair) were like 15, running around with Barney. :rotfl:

I am so glad we missed the Barney era in this house.

:lmao: THIS made me :rotfl: , Junie. ;)

Well its true. Seeing PD (and you, for that matter), is like coming home after being away a long time. It just gives me the warm and fuzzies. :rotfl:

(ETA: I probably just set myself up for something with that comment didn't I?) :rotfl:

Not by me!! :hippie:

Honestly, DD watched Barney every day when she was little. She is embarrassed by that now but she loved it back then. I know a lot of people who hated that show but I liked it. DD always was on her feet interacting with the whole show--not just watching from the chair. Plus, I could sing the clean up song and she'd clean up everything!!!!:rotfl:

gee and here i thought they just packed them away in boxes! i mean they always reminded me of either the robot kid in 'small wonder' or the artificial intellegence kid haley jo osmet played in a.i.:happytv:

i hated barney (not as much as telletubbies) so much since i had to hear them over and over and over....that i chose instead of giving them away to pack them up to store along with a working vcr-which i will gift to my grandchildren when the time comes. then their parents can enjoy it as much as i did:eek:
